Purchased these for my grandsons 7th birthday and he loves them! He wanted a pair just like his dad's, so I was glad to find an almost exact duplicate pair in children's sizes. I absolutely LOVE that these come with a sizing insert, that can make the boots smaller, and then you can take them out, to make them a size bigger, so that they can wear them longer! They are very easy for him to take off and put them on all by himself, and the buckles will allow him to adjust how tight or loose they fit in different area. Sizing was a little confusing and hard to judge based off of his shoe size, and the fact that he wears different sizes, in different shoes, and is real particular about the way things fit. He typically wears around a 1 or a 2, and different brands give different measurements, so I suggest simply measuring the foot itself and go by the size chart and just completely ignore shoe sizes. His foot measured approx 7.5 inches. According to the size chart, he should wear a 12. Since he likes his shoes to fit a little loose on his foot, I figured I had better get a 13. After realizing that the included insert, would make them a 12, I decided to order a second pair in a size 1 (in order for the insert to make them a 13, and give him room to grow) since I was unsure about sizing, and didn't want him to have to wait on an exchange, I kept both pair until after his party, just so we could try both and compare. He tried both pair with no inserts, and said he could wear either one, but felt like the 13 felt better. So then we tried them both again with the inserts, (Meaning the 13 would now fit like a 12, and the 1 would now fit like a 13) He said the 13 (now fitting like a 12) was now too tight and uncomfortable. He said the size 1 (now fitting like a 13) was perfect. So we ended up keeping the size 1, so he could wear them as a 13 now, and take the insert out later, when he is ready to size up. Hopefully I explained this in a way that could be helpful and easy to follow for anyone that is confused like I was at first. I cant give much info on the other aspects of them, ( ex: durability, waterproof etc) but I haven't heard any complaints so far, and my son that has this pair in an adult size, loves his and highly recommends them, which is why we chose these for my grandson as well. Great quality and Comfert. This is my son’s second set. I ordered a size bigger cause they do come with an insert to make them fit a size smaller. Works great cause as my sons foot grows I can remove the insole and hopefully get another season out of them. Read more
