Not quite the feel I was hoping for... I've had these Alpinestars SMX-Z Drystars for about 6 months now. I got them mainly for fall season riding so my hands stay warmer if it gets temperature drops. The fit is not quite right, as the one size smaller felt too tight and these fell ok but more on the looser side. In hindsight, I should've stuck to the tighter size then break them in longer. Protection from mild cold temps and rain it worked well. Kept my hands pretty warm and dry. The issue I have is construction and material quality. Theses gloves are a mixture of leather and woven fabric. I'd say 50% of the glove is leather - at best. And I'm not even sure if this is real leather. My brother had another model of Alpinestars that he bought from a dealership. He paid way more for his, but when I tried his one, it was like night and day. Fit well and leather felt real unlike my gloves. Even considering the cheaper price - I still give it 3 stars. Read more

Once broken it, fits perfectly on my hands and comfortable. California winter, can't say anything below 30 degrees. I'll need a heated gloves with my hands exposed the elements. Read more
