AltoCover 6 Layer Heavy Duty Car Cover Waterproof All Weather Protection with Cotton Liner Universal Fit Audi A4

I have 5 cars and have purchased many inexpensive covers over the yrs. I use 2 or 3 covers overlaid per car. The silver coated ones hold up for about a year and then the silver flakes off and makes a mess - these have served as an outer sacrificial layer in summer - but I will never order another one. The single ply black waterproof ones are lightweight and very weather resistant (2 yrs going) but only partially waterproof (seeps significantly through the seams). I use them only as a top layer to stop pine needles and dirt/debris and 'most' of the rain. The polypropylene covers from Oxgord were exceptional (no longer available) - are water repellant and last years - not their multilayer rubberized ones though - they are very heavy and eventually tear. The polypropylene version is always an inner layer - they are too precious to be exposed to dirt/debris (I just don't want them to get dirty). This Altocover seems well made - I cannot yet speak to how it holds up - but based on the fabric and construction and my breadth of experience - I expect at least at least 2-3 seasons. I am using them as the inner layer for these three cars: The C2 cover fits my C5 Corvette nicely - except of course for the mirror pockets - the perimeter dimensions match the Vette within 4"- that is what you want to have a good fit - don't match length or width - match perimeter within a few inches. The C3 cover fits my Jaguar XJS - just a little baggy and mirror pockets miss of course -7" excess perimeter. The S2 cover fits my 1996 Ford Explorer Sport well - 8" excess perimeter - but is a good fit and mirror pockets do align. Good luck. Read more

Five star review. Very impressive and happy with the new SUV cover. It's a perfect fit for a Ford Explorer and the material quality is really amazing. Was quite surprised, it has a very water resistant outer black layer, and a soft cotton inner layer which won't scratch the paint and helps protect. Comes with a same material storage bag, no cotton very handy for trunk or backseat storage use. It's black and low profile, won't draw attention and has orange reflective stripes very subtle around the head and tail lights and mirrors. Has mirror pockets built in too, and the neatest feature, a driver door zipper for access without removing the cover. Zipper is definitely very well made, flap going over the zipper. The strange part about the design is the straps, unfortunately they aren't the type to go underneath side to side but these instead attach to the rims of the vehicle and have to tie them if I'm not mistaken. That means tying up four rims. This was the only area it's lacking but can be fixed with strap buckles which it didn't come with unfortunately. Still the price is a great value for the high quality material you get in return and it's definitely an all season heavy duty cover. Read more

This is really an AWESOME cover! Use it for our Jeep Liberty and it fits like it was CUSTOM made! The zipper is great for getting things in and out without taking the whole cover off! The tie downs are another great feature - they tie on the wheel rims! No more getting on your hands and knees trying to throw a string under your car to hopefully reach on the other side without a belly crawl!! The flannel lining is another plus, along with the pockets for the side view mirrors, so they don’t have to fold in! Great Elastic edges, all good! Think the best thing of all is the PRICE! Mine was in the low $30s and I’ve had it several months now, it still looks brand new and no one can believe the price! PRO: This fits my Nissan Versa Hatchback really really well. It is thick and sturdy. The zipper at the driver's door so you can still get something out of the car is very clever. I liked the stitching and look of it with reflective ribbon strategically placed at the bumpers and sidemirrors so it will not be banged into in the dark and a good idea. CON: After a serious and long rainstorm the cover did start to saturate though showing it was not fully water proof. See the pictures. Read more

This is my third try at a cover. The first two brands didn't fit well. I ordered the C4 for my 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 and it fits well and is a great value for the price. I would suggest getting the dimensions of your vehicle and ordering a cover based on that, unless you can find reviews that match your vehicle. I was running into the problem of the fit being too tight around the side view mirrors. This one work was the best fit. I also like that this has a tag that tells you it's the front. Also, that this has straps instead of clips that can bounce on your paint. Highly recommended cover! Read more
