This is the best hair iron I've ever used, and I'm in my 60s. On the last visits to my stylist, she used a brush curling iron on my hair. I was surprised it did not tangle because I have thick and full, but fine textured hair. I saw the cute and helpful video for the Alure brush iron, and placed my order. I seriously love this tool. It is super easy to use, and can heat up to 430F in seconds. I can literally brush through my hair with this iron and my hair becomes smooth and silky. If I set it on a little lower setting, and brush from the roots out, hold for 5 seconds, I get a completely different look that adds volume and more curl. This cute multi-styling curing wand actually makes me want to style my hair. It's also great for traveling, just tuck it back into its very nice sheath. I loved this styler so much, I bought one for my daughter a few weeks later. As an added note to others who had issues with it tangling or burning their hair, I suspect the culprit to this might be hair spray or any styling gel you might have put in your hair prior to using it. Simply use on clean, dry hair to prevent this. Read more

I really like this brush. I was actually looking for one that was 1 1/2" vs. the 1" but I decided to try it. While I eventually bought another one that was 1 1/2" for everyday use, I kept this one because it worked so well on giving life to limp hair. It curled a little too much for my chin-length hair, but in a pinch when you go out unexpectedly and your hair looks like crap, it would work well. It heats up fast and is easy to wrap your hair. I only wish they would make a 1 1/2" one and I would use it every day. It was a good value for the money. Read more

Im a natural hair girl so I wanted to find a curl brush that wouldn't break off my hair with the wire bristles. The reviewers saying that their hair got tangled must not have been sectioning their hair well. I did not have any trouble with this. This brush is so amazing that I was able to use it after blow drying without straightening my hair first. Just make sure to use small sections. The pics are not doing it justice. My hair looks amazing! Im able to tie my hair up into a couple of bantu knots (twisted in the direction of the curls) at night and it holds the curls ALL WEEK! I've attached pics of day one hair and the hair after a week Read more

This styler came in very nice packaging which included a storage bag and two hair clips. I was very pleased with the length of the cord and that it swivels. The bristles are great at keeping the heat from your head/ears/fingers and I loved the adjustable temp setting with a digital temp display. I have shoulder length thick wavy hair and it worked well at curling it and smoothing, I didn’t actually try to use it as a straightener, more to enhance the wave and just de frizz it a bit. It did the job. I tried this on my daughters hair as well, she has long straight hair which does not hold curl at all with a normal curing iron and this one easily put some body into her hair. The only problem we encountered was that with long hair this is easy to get tangled up. I’m sure it’s true of any curler with bristles and is probably easier to avoid with continued use. Read more

I've had this product for almost 2 years. I have mixed feelings about it. It heats up quickly and gives nice curls that stay better than with my previous iron. Maybe it's hotter? The main drawback is that my hair doesn't slide across the barrel smoothly and occasionally it will get stuck in a very OMG kind of way. Several times, it took me 10-15 minutes to release it. I turned it off immediately when this happened but each time I was fearing my hair frying and breaking off. So now I'm looking for a new one so I don't have to be so so so careful not to tangle. maybe with short hair that wouldn't be a problem. Read more

I purchased this styling brush to replace my Fusion Styler. It works equally as well. My only word of advice is watch the metal in between the bristles. It gets as hot as a regular curling iron. This was not the case with the Fusion Styler. Hopefully that one touch will remind me not to do it again. Since I was used to how the Fusion Styler worked, I did not have problems with my hair getting caught up in the bristles like some of the other people did. Read more

I love this styler. I have short hair and the barrel is 3/4 inch so it’s small enough to give volume without tight curls. The adjustable heat setting is also very useful. Read more
