I needed a small, simple, collapsible caddy for showering after my lap swim. Let me emphasize SMALL; most of the caddies I saw boasted of how many products you could stuff into them. All I need is shampoo and conditioner, a small bottle of body wash and a cloth - not my entire bathroom of stuff! There's still room for a couple of other items if you need more. This hangs perfectly under the itty-bitty, way-too-shallow wire tray attached to the locker room shower walls to set things on (terrible design, you can hear everyone's bottles falling over and hitting the floor, followed by quiet cursing). It's deep enough to keep things upright but not so deep that you have to struggle to get them out. I also really like the easy-dry mesh as opposed to the zippered plastic pouch I was using. I actually purchased two of these. The shower on a cruise ship has very little room for your essentials. Short of leaving shampoo, razor, etc. on the floor with barely space for yourself- this solves the problem! simply hook it over the shower wall creating a "shelf" or pocket for you to keep your things. I hook the second one to the bottom of the first. Now we can have my stuff and his organized in the shower , at our fingertips, and up off the floor. They are mesh, so they drain well too. I bought this to use as a small hamper to keep things like wet reusable sponges and dish cloths separate from the rest of my dirty laundry since a lot of the mesh laundry hampers I could find were either much too large for what I needed or cheap and flimsy with poor reviews. I don't have much space and wanted something small that I could hang from a magnetic hook on the side of my washing machine and this does the job. It's nice and sturdy and the mesh allows the cloths to dry quickly. It holds about about two days' worth of dirty cloths, but I do laundry often enough that that's all I really needed. I haven't used it for its intended purpose as a shower caddy but it's well-constructed and the mesh seems strong. Read more
