These Amazon Basics AA batteries are a reliable, no drama option for the stuff that eats batteries around the house. I use them in controllers, toys, small lights, and clocks, and they deliver steady performance with a respectable lifespan. They work the way alkaline batteries should work, with no surprises. The real advantage is value and convenience. At about $15 for a 48 pack, you can stock up once and stop making last minute runs to buy overpriced name brand packs. For most everyday devices, there is no meaningful difference in experience, and nobody is inspecting the label on the battery once it is inside the remote. Storage is easy, and the long shelf life makes this a smart buy to keep on hand for emergencies or for kid toys that suddenly “need batteries right now.” If you want a practical bulk pack that performs well for the price, this is an easy choice. These batteries work as good or better than any name brand batteries that I have used. My son is a gamer and uses them in his controller. I have also used them in remotes, home decor, toys, and other electronics. They last a long time and provide consistent power, even if they have been sitting a long time. We found some that we had for 2 years and when we used them, they worked as great as the brand new ones. I only purchase the Amazon brand batteries because they are great quality and the price can't be beat. Read more

They work very well. But don't buy in bulk if you cannot use them within a year. They lose their power after that and don't last long. Read more

I picked up this 20-pack of AA batteries because I always seem to need extras for my remotes, clocks, and random gadgets around the house. The size is perfect, standard AA so they fit in everything I’ve needed like my electric doorknob and my electric toothbrush. The durability seems solid, I’ve had them in a couple devices for months now and they’re still going strong. I really like that there’s a big pack, so I don’t have to keep running to the store and having a 10-year shelf life honestly makes me feel like I can stash these away and they’ll be ready whenever I need them. They’re super affordable too, and I can’t tell any difference from the pricier brands. These are seriously worth it! Read more

I love buying batteries in bulk for all my battery lights, candles, etc. I buy the Amazon Basics brand as they appear to be as good quality and long lasting as other brands. They are packaged well and easy to store. I can stock up, and feel confident that they won't expire. Very good value! Read more

The price for a huge pack like this is a steal, especially this time of year when every toy, gadget, and remote suddenly decides it needs fresh AA’s. I’ve been using Amazon Basics batteries for a while now and they’ve held up just as well as the big name brands. No leaks, no weird corrosion, nothing. They power my kids toys, remotes, flashlights, the whole busy lineup, and the lifespan has been great. And having 48 on hand means I don’t have to panic search the junk drawer every time a toy chirps low battery 😂 Great price, great performance, and one less thing to run out of during the holiday rush. I’d absolutely buy them again. 🔋💛 Read more

I bought these for my many Christmas decorations that require AA batteries, and I've been very pleased with them. They seem to have a decent amount of power, and last as long as any other brand I've tried. Read more

These are good, cheap-but-not-too-cheap batteries. I buy these for my remotes, my quest VR remotes, and other miscellaneous items that need AA and AAA batteries. I haven't had any that leaked but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I haven't had any issues with them not fitting. I know sometimes if you get a rechargeable battery that says it's AA it might come in a little bit bigger and might be a tight squeeze. But these are fine and they are of course not rechargeable. I think I'm getting pretty normal life out of these for alkaline batteries, but I'm not doing heavy duty tasks. These batteries are mostly doing some light lifting. I do have a bunch extra to use for my power outage lanterns because I suspect one set would not last me for one entire power outage. If you intend to use batteries for something more heavy duty, I would strongly recommend going with a lithium option because in general they perform better and last longer than alkaline batteries hands down.
