Nice cups. Bought the cheapest ones (linen gray) at $14 and they look great, feel sturdy and heavy. This set is great for the price you pay. The bowls are a lot smaller than I was expecting but honestly it serves as portion control as well lol but they are heavy and feel extremely sturdy. Already have a couple of visible scuffs after a few weeks of daily use. Integrity of the glaze is not damaged though. Quality is ok for the price. It's nice that they're dishwasher safe although I imagine they'll hold up better if you hand wash when you can. I like that the lip is substantial enough that you can put some hot water in to let the plate soak for a few minutes without filling up the whole sink with water. May be a bit large for some dishwashers, but I like that they are big enough for a small cut of meat and plenty of vegetable sides. May be a bit heavy for some with issues like arthritis (but that is just the nature of stoneware, if it was lighter/thinner it would be too fragile). Read more

These are heavy duty plates that have a ridge around the edge so sauces don't run off the edge. I've look all around and finally found these on Amazon. High quality. Very heavy. Dishwasher safe. Dont drop, they are porcelain I believe and may break. They are heavy duty. I love 'em. Read more
