Excellent for everyday use. It's not as powerful as a grease cutter as Dawn is, but to use a metaphor; I don't need a sledge hammer for lighter jobs like hanging pictures. And those jobs are more common. I can always use more of this soap if needed, or I could stash a smaller bottle of Dawn under the sink for the occasional tough job. The economic value is worth it: At 120 oz, the price difference is nearly 5$. Pros: very effective for daily use, pleasant scent, gentle on the hands, very budget friendly. Cons: Slightly less viscous than Dawn, although that's not always a bad thing with pump soap dispensers. Not the strongest grease cutter, but still functional in that capacity. The bottle is thin, and if Amazon shipping fails at its job, you might get a leaking bottle, but that's not the fault of the product. On a side note, our family likes re-purposable packaging, and the cap for the soap fits 2 liter soda bottles. We've made impromptu water guns, herbicide dispensers, dog de-skunker mix, and plant waterers reusing the caps on 2 liter bottles. Trivial, but fun. Read more
This is a great dish soap at a reasonable price. Just a teaspoon sized amount of soap works for a whole sink full of dishes. If you have particularly tough dishes, just let them sit in the soapy water for a bit and the food will come right off. Read more
Does the job. Good price for the amount of bottles you get. Cleans dishes compared to Dawn but not as good. No leaks if you don’t put it upside down. Smells great. Read more

ou know, Amazon is slowly but surely penetrating deeper into our homes. Speaking purely from an economic standpoint, it's such a large manufacturer that it can afford to sell products that are comparable in quality to more expensive ones from other producers. Today, let's take a look at the Dish Soap from Amazon Basics. Once again, I’ll note that four bottles of 30 fluid ounces each is an excellent price. Usually, I use a dishwasher, but there are times when I need to wash a small amount of dishes, or I come across a particularly dirty plate with leftover dinner—this is when dish soap comes into play. The product performs excellently in its functions: it cleans stubborn dirty pots and plates, and my hands don’t dry out after using it. This is probably because it doesn’t contain parabens, phthalates, or phosphates. The scent is subtle and not chemical, the dish soap foams well, and it rinses off easily without leaving any residue. Overall, my conclusion is that it’s an excellent dishwashing product, especially considering the price—it’s simply wonderful. Read more

Amazon Basics Dish Soap is a decent, no-frills option for everyday dishwashing. The fresh scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which is a plus for those who are sensitive to strong fragrances. The soap does a satisfactory job of cutting through grease and cleaning dishes, though it may require a bit more effort for heavily soiled or baked-on messes compared to some premium brands. One of the standout features is the value for money. The pack of four 30-ounce bottles is economical and lasts a long time, making it a practical choice for households or anyone looking to stock up. The consistency is thick enough to avoid wasting product, and a little goes a long way, which helps stretch each bottle further. However, there are a few drawbacks. While it gets the job done, it doesn’t feel as effective or luxurious as some higher-end dish soaps. It can leave a slight residue on dishes if not rinsed thoroughly, and the formula isn’t as moisturizing for hands as other brands, which might be a concern for those who wash dishes frequently. Overall, Amazon Basics Dish Soap is a solid, budget-friendly option that works well for basic dishwashing needs. It’s not the most impressive dish soap on the market, but it’s reliable and affordable, making it a good choice for everyday use. If you’re looking for something simple and cost-effective, this is worth a try, but don’t expect anything extraordinary. Read more
