This is a very important safety feature: if a dog were to accidentally get the ball stuck in the back of the throat, the hole allows air to pass through. That small detail could literally make a life-saving difference. Aside from the safety benefit, they bounce well, are easy to clean, and hold up to a lot of playtime. We have a power chewer beagle. She destroys her toys. She loves to play with these balls, especially fetch. They bounce really well which makes it so much fun for her to catch. You never know what you’re going to get with Amazon these days but these are awesome! My golden retriever will literally play fetch for hours with these. With this time of year and getting dark at 5pm, she can track these with ease as they fly through the sky. They also make a cool whooshing sound when you throw them with some velocity. Would love to give them 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 but while they are super well built they don't hold a glowing charge very long even after charging in a sunny window all day long (will have to make a black light lit charging container) dont get me wrong they are heavy duty though and cool side note they fit in the Nerf dog ball launchers which is why I picked this size 😁 Read more
