These are made in the USA! They’re very sturdy and sharp so I’m grateful they come in the handy cover. I have peace of mind knowing both my daughter and I have one in the glovebox should we need it. Made well especially for the price! It fits into a holder that seems to be mountable. It does not come with hardware or double sided tape with whick to do so. I would buy this again because the quality and value are excellent. Read more
I was pleasantly surprised that these did not turn out to be lightweight flimsy things that may or may not do the job when needed. They are solid and have some heft to them. Not lightweight dollar store cheap plastic feel in other words, I trust these would hold up and do the job in an emergency panic moment if needed. Also the plastic protector that holds then is needed to keep the very sharp tip end from puncturing anything near it or ripping your skin if feeling around for it, and this is not difficult to remove in a quick second from its holder. Just pull and out it comes, it is removed very easily....I see other reviews cautioning about the difficulty of taking it out of its holder but perhaps they were just pulling it the wrong way or something because I did it over & over & over practicing and it is no trouble at all, no problem whatsoever if you just tug it straight out...so don't let that stop you from getting this excellent emergency window breakers. And it is great value getting two, so you can put one in the center console within easy reach and maybe another in the side door holder or glove box. Read more
