I love it! This thing is seriously sturdy, too. I've been doing dips with an extra 140+ lbs on a weight belt and it still feels totally solid and stable. The only drawback is that it doesn't include straps/handles for extra exercises, like most other models of this style. Still, it's solidly constructed, arrived quickly, and was easy to assemble (aside from an error in the manual where it shows the screw holes facing differently than they actually are). Overall, this is a great investment and works well for inverted rows (especially if you prop up your feet on something). Mainly, though, this is the perfect way to do dips--which honestly might be the best exercise you can do because it builds your triceps, chest, shoulders, and even a little back (depending on how you angle yourself), making it EXTREMELY efficient. Highly recommended. Read more
As others have said, this dip stand is great. It's SOLID. It's also rather large! But... If you don't tighten the bolts, you can quickly disassemble and reassemble it in a matter of seconds and slide the 4 pieces under a bed or hide them behind a couch when not in use. That's what I do. HOWEVER, no one besides me is using this bar, and I have no children in the house who might not be mindful or aware of the fact the bars are not screwed together! And you do want to make sure the top pieces are fully seated into the lower pieces before every use. Just put the bolts threw the holes, but don't put on the nut. The bolts are not structural per se.. they just keep the top bar pieces locked into the bottom pieces, so they don't fall out and so the top pieces stay fully inserted. The bars are approximately 1.5 inch steel pipes, and the ends of the top pieces are sized slightly narrower, to slide into the lower pieces, and they slide in a good 2-3 inches. That's it, that's the assembly. The pipes are structurally sound by themselves. Gravity and the angles of the pieces hold everything together. Read more
Great product! I love this wokout device for upperbody. The only problem I have is the amount of cushion on the top bar is very thin and the reason I gave only four stars. There was some difficulties with alignment of holes during assembly. The fix I did fir the cushion is purchased two barbell cushions and placed them on the top bar. It works fine when doing dips or knee ups. Still balanced. See pictures. Purchase this item for your upper body workout. Read more

This is a nice piece of equipment. I was pleasantly surprised by how strong and sturdy is. The handle bar padding is good and seems durable, but also seems like something you could easily replace if needed. The stability kind of depends on how well you put it together and your form, because when I do incline push-ups I tend to push the wrong way so it comes off the ground. This is easily fixed by putting it up against a wall. I think it is very versatile and a good alternative for someone how doesn't want a bunch of weights or equipment because you can do so many things with it besides the bodyweight exercises they give an example of on the included instruction sheet - incline pushups, dips, leg lifts and wide-grip pull ups. You can also use it for balance when doing single leg exercise, to stretch legs or lay on the ground parallel to the legs and do toe touches to the padded handle bar. Read more
I'm not that strong but I've always wanted to be able to do dips. So I purchased this. I like it. It feels solid and doesn't move under me. I weigh 210 lbs. The foam grips are wide and fairly comfortable to hold. It ends up being rather large when put together and I don't think you'd want to disassemble it, although you could, so just measure your space to see if it'll fit well. I'm actually not very strong so I bought some flat fabric resistant bands and I threaded those into it. I use all four and put my knees on them to assist with my weight. I've been able to increase the number I can do. Eventually I'll take away all the bands. I like that you could do potentially more and more difficult exercises on this. I also do a beginner pull up lying under it with my feet still on the ground and pulling up. It aches the next day, so it's using new muscles. Read more
The dip station wobbles after putting it together and it is too much of a trouble to disassemble it and pack it again for return. Read more
Just got mine delivered and assembled. Received it in four days standard delivery. I'm 6 foot, 215lbs, and it is very sturdy, I feel very comfortable working out on it. The plastic foot pads have metal inserts for the screws so they should last. The grips are comfortable for me but I got big hands maybe smaller hands might struggle a bit. I plan on getting some bigger assembly screws with butterfly spin handles and I can easily make this a quick assembly piece of equipment... I would upgrade the screws anyway, easy to do. Overall I say a great buy. I've seen some of the reviews knocking it, don't know why, just try to build one for this price. Anyway, got the amazon purchase guarantee. .. go ahead if you are considering this product. You be happy. Modified the four screws like this.1/4 x 1-1/2 clamp knob female 4 ea, 1/4 inch fatwas her 3 per bolt, 1/4-20 x 2 carriage bolt. I cleaned up the holes with a rat tail file... now easily setup and stored. Read more
