Works great on my hardwood floors under my elliptical, which was previously on carpet. Prior to receiving the Amazon Basics Treadmill Mat the elliptical was on cloth to protect the hardwood, but the elliptical moved as I used it. It stays put now, and my floor is protected. The mat laid flat shortly after it was unrolled with the elliptical sitting on it. I also find my electric sweeper easily removes any dust or debris. I have a sensitive sense of smell, and was happy to discover there is no bad smell. Read more
