I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. The price was right and the reviews indicated ordering your regular size would still provide a roomy fit. This is true! The color is slightly more vibrant than in the pictures, and the quality is good, with a midweight feel overall. The more expensive Fair Isle sweaters tend to be made of wool - this is not. The yarn used is soft, and kind of reminds me a little of velour - popular when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s. It's a comfortable sweater with an updated, yet traditional style. I wish there were more colors to choose from, but overall, I'm pleased and I think she will be too. Read more

This Amazon Essentials Fair Isle sweater may run a tad large, I sized down 1 size, but it is soooooo nice! Seems like a sweater that cost far more. The fact that a percentage is also cotton is an added bonus. I purchased a second one. I order far more frequently than I should from Amazon, but never write reviews. This is my first one for any appareal after being a customer for 10 years. The price point and fantastic quality make it a fall & winter wow. IMO, this sweater isn’t designed as many “oversized” sweaters. My regular sized would have just seemed too big, not oversized. There is a difference, lol. I almost wrote a review for the Amazon Essential Cable Knit Sweater I purchased in nearly every color for the same reason as this sweater. Great quality, cotton, washes nicely and simply why not at the low price point. I highly recommend! Read more

Wanted this to be a main winter staple but disappointed. Was so excited to wear even though I was advised of stitching opening at the back.
