I have several pairs of these chinos. The quality is reasonably good for the price. They hold up to regular wash and wear. The zipper is a good quality. The sizing is tricky. Chinos are traditionally worn snug without being tight. Thankfully, these come in nonstandard sizes. A waist size 34 is too loose and the 32 is too tight. The 33 inch waist is just right. The light colors are not see through and the dark colors do not fade. They may require a little ironing if you fail to immediately remove them from the dryer at the end of the cycle. Fantastic fit and quality at a very low price, I usually pay between $50 and $100 for pants not because I want to but because that’s what they normally cost to get a piece of quality clothing that fits well and will last, I googled lightweight, cotton, chino style pants to wear for the summer, and these came up and were less than half of the least expensive pair that were comparable. Because I was so pleased with the Amazon essentials cotton hoodie because of the quality and fit I decided I’d go ahead and try these and I was very pleasantly surprised, and so is my wife , she loved the fit Also, I was a little apprehensive because of the label Amazon essentials, which made it sound at least to me like it was just your basic piece of clothing, but it’s definitely not, the only thing I would watch for is all my other pants I normally wear a 30 length , in this oneI ended up having to order 29 so I would suggest ordering it an inch shorter in the length. The waist was fine, if you’re looking for a great buy and a great pair of pants stop looking just buy them! Read more
I was skeptical for a $25 pair of pants, but they're for work so I wasn't too fussed. Turns out, they fit perfect, not too tight and not too baggy, and they're true to size. Pockets are deep enough for phone/keys other misc. items. Very impressed with Amazon brand pair of pants. They don't feel cheap, they feel pretty good! I'm 6'0" 185 lbs male with a bigger bottom, but they fit perfectly. I wouldn't definitely purchase the exact pair again in the future if need be. I can't believe these Amazon pants fit better than my Wranglers or Levi's did. Read more
The fit is not really as described. Waist is fine. Hip and thigh have a generous amount of space but still don't look bad, appropriate for "athletic" fit. From the knee down though it looks like a parachute. These fit more like relaxed style baggy jeans than "athletic" fit. If you need extra space these will probably be fine for you. But if you're thinking these fit like other brands with "athletic" fit, they don't. Leg opening is supposed to be straight, these are way to loose. This may also just be an issue with the 34 in inseam but it is a bit too long. I'm 6' 4" and every pair of pants or jeans I get are 34 in inseam. These are the first that the pant leg drags on the heel and bunches up a curtain around my ankles. Positives are that the material feels like what you would expect sub $30 pants to feel like. Good fitting for me, 5'9", 190 lbs., 71. Comfortable, slightest stretch, durable, and reasonably priced. I actually reduced my waist size from 36 to 35 in my 3rd and 4th pairs because they are ample. Read more
These pants are well constructed. The fit is just right and they also have some stretch. Comfortable standing, walking, and sitting. Amazing value for the quality you get. Sizing seems to be very accurate. The weight of the pants is just right, not too heavy and not too thin. They seem to be somewhat breathable and good for all temperature ranges. Read more
