Like a soft foot hug!
Like too many people out there, I put off simple things for too long. I've been walking around wearing a shredded, uncomfortable pair of loafers as my casual slip-ons for years, and their soles long ago hardened to some form of concrete. For a long time, I couldn't replace them, because I was hurting for money and had other priorities, like paying for food and rent. And once I, ahem, got back on my feet, I had grown used to the old, broke-down models and didn't think to replace them. At long last, though, one of the "seasoned" house shoes split, and my hand was forced. Thank heavens! I selected the Amazon basic recommendation, figuring they would be cheap and therefore disposable. We'll see how long they last, but I'm delighted with how comfy these "disposable" moccasins are on my surprised and happy feet. The Moccasins I wear a men's size 11 1/2 shoe, but because the moccasins only come in whole sizes, I opted for a size 12 in charcoal. The shoes were well packaged, with paper stuffed in the toes and small cardboard shoe trees in place to help retain the shape. The suede exterior is soft and appears well stitched. Consider treating the fabric with a suede waterproofing agent, though, to keep it looking good. The rubber outsole is thick, with nice, grippy treads. The faux fur that lines the interior is soft and warm on the feet, and even a size 12 holds onto my feet well. The shoes don't come with any arch support at all, but I'm not planning on running a 5k in them or anything. For house slippers, they're top notch. The shine might wear off once I get used to these slippers, but for now, I'm thrilled with the purchase. They're great value and will come in handy any time I want to throw on some foot protection around the home. And I'm looking forward to a winter of warm toes and contented soles. Highly recommended!
