Almost everything about these jeans are really good. Good weight fabric. Good stitching. Good pocket sizing. Accurate fit. Only thing I do not like is the slash pockets. Because of the design, in a work enviroment where you would be crawling around, thing may find there way out of the pockets. When you put your hands in the pocket they feel really loose at the top. Perfect if you have bear claws for hands but not so for containing stuff. If you are in attics or crawlspaces, under cars and the like I would be careful. Everything else is great. I've been wearing carpenter jeans for years, both as a carpenter and a aerospace manufacturing tech. I like the extra pockets on the side of the right leg, where I usually keep my glasses when I'm not wearing them. If I could have designed a pair myself, these would be very close to that. A slightly slimmer cut than Wrangler, one pocket on the leg instead of two, sturdy material, and no dang hammer loop. In my entire career I have never seen one person with any tool in that snaggy loop; I cut them off. Size is dead on. I do have two small criticisms. The change pocket is waayyy too deep, and the single belt loop in the back is not ideal. Two evenly spaced would hold up better over time, there's a lot of pressure on that one loop when bending, kneeling, or stooping. Overall I'm very happy to find these and I will order more. The zipper is too small which makes it's intended purpose extremely difficult. The hole cut out at top is too small and makes the closure button impossible to fit into. The only way I could use it and get it to fit was to use a razor blade and cut the hole larger. Read more

Pros: they seem to be well made and fit is true to size. Cons: the pockets are too small. My hand bottoms out in the front pockets when I feel like it should have a couple more inches to go in. The right leg side pocket will hold my cell phone, but it sticks out a bit. And the zipper pull is tiny, it should be big enough that normal adult fingers can grasp it easily. Nice jeans - built for work. Excellent for the price. No hammer loop but i rarely use the loop. I was expecting more tool pockets. These only have one extra pocket but it is big enough for iPhone pro max. There is no hammer loop. If they had more tool pockets they would have more utility. Read more
