Really comfortable shorts, and they fit and look good. Only thing I would recommend is don't dry them until they're bone-dry because they will wrinkle being cotton. Mrs. Al here. My husband desperately needed new clothes but that can definitely add up. We lost a lot of weight over the last two years and were already putting off buying more while budgeting for my health issues/treatment and moving, but we cannot wait any longer unless we want to start a new style of broken down, oversized fashion. We've had good luck with the Amazon clothing products in the past and I decided to give a little look here while otherwise doing our futile search for toilet paper, see if at least one thing on the needed list could be found. Never found the TP but found a lot of great clothing deals, including on this particular pair of shorts for my husband in this particular color and size. Decided to order and it came earlier than expected on top of being a perfect fit for him and his gorgeous legs! Have them in the washing machine right now as I type this so he can actually wear them later today. (You can wear shorts during remote video conference meetings if you don't stand up, right?) The color was great, too, and he said they seemed pretty comfortable. Otherwise, obviously he has yet to wear them for a long period of time so I should perhaps update this once he does, but given how well the other Goodthreads pants he has are holding up I can only imagine they will be fine. These shorts were perfect. They fit great, the quality is great. But then I washed them. The seams at the bottom of the legs both wrinkled up so bad I had to iron them. I couldn't just rub my hands across them to get the wrinkles out. I wash in cold water and use permanent press setting on the dryer. Read more

I have bought these for years and always loved them. They were branded "Goodthreads" and I always loved them. The new ones are branded "Amazon Essentials". The material has changed. The old ones were made in Bangaladesh and were 98% cotton and 2% elastine. The new ones claim the same stats but they are nothing alike. The new ones are more stiff and even worse, the hem at the bottom of the leg stays wrinkled and would need to be ironed if you want to wear them in public. I have washed them several times at different temps and the performance remains the same. I bought two pairs and they both do the same thing. I will use these for rags. Waste of money. Read more
