Amazon Essentials Womens 100 Cotton Crewneck Sweater Available in Plus Size

I got this in the size small for my teenage daughter who's fashion conscious and pretty fussy I'd read one or two negative reviews that's it's 100% cotton and was a great price made me wiling to try it some comments said it was too thin and I've bought many too thin tops on Amazon but no this isn't too thin it's not a bulky winter sweater but it's perfect for layering or for fall there's a very decent quality to the cotton and the cut is contemporary she tried it on with a cord mini skirt and ugg boots and it was adorable a cute basic that could be dressed up with accessories. I thought it looked great on her and I'm about to order a different color for myself I got hers on special offer so it was a bargain but it's not that easy to find 100% cotton and it's nice on so I think it's actually inexpensive at the full price of $25 now my daughter is a 16 runner with a pretty enviable figure so it's possible it won't work out as well for this middle aged mom she's 5ft 5 32C and 26" waist the size small looks great on her hits nicely at the waist would look good with jeans as well as skirts most importantly for me it looks like it'll be fine no matter how many washes I got the white sweater that looks like this but it's softer with a cotton polyester blend and that I'm returning because to get one of this style because it looks like a one wash and it's going to be misshapen but Read more

I bought 4 of these within a couple of weeks because I love the cut and the material. They are very well put together and look higher end. At least for me, they are an effortless way to looked polished. I wear them with pencil skirts for work and with jeans around town and they look great both ways. Heavy enough to keep you warm with an under shirt while still looking tailored, not slouchy. I also love the 100% cotton, although I'd forgotten how easily cotton wrinkles. The sweater is nice. Soft. A little bit of stretch. But it runs a little small. A medium is tight on me and I couldn't comfortably wear an undershirt with it. I returned and bought a large. My usual size is M. I'm 5'5 and 140 lbs. The large will be perfect, I think. And 100% cotton I figure it might shrink when washing/drying. So I d say size UP. Read more

I bought a few Amazon sweaters this fall and I'm very impressed. I also purchased some used "rent the runway" sweaters and I actually prefer the Amazon sweaters to most of the designer sweater. This sweater is mid-weight. It is long, as shown in the images. The fit is skimming over the body. Nothing sags or puffs out where it isn't supposed to. It is a flattering traditional fit. The sweater washes and air dries very nicely. I hang it folded over a hangar to dry and take it while still a little damp and hang it long to finish. The color I chose was dark green. It's pretty.
