Amazon Essential cardigan are lightweight, well made and a good value. The fit is nice. The shoulder seams line up which is a nice tailoring feature. The fabric is lightweight so it can be worn in the spring or summer evenings. I purchased the darker green and it didn't disappoint. It was a lovely shade of Forrest Green. The fabric has a nice softness about it so it feels good on your arms. The length hits at mid hip so it doesn't fall below your rear like some longer sweaters do. Love It! This cardigan is soft and comfy. It has plenty of stretch so it's easy to move in. It fits true to size. I got my normal size 3X, and it fits great. I like that it is not to thick and not to thin. The Burgandy color is pretty and would be great for the Fall weather. It is nice quality and great value. My only con is after wearing it I had fuzz from the cardigan all over my tank top I was wearing under it. Overall Nice cardigan. I defiantly will buy again in other colors. Read more

Ordered the black in XL. Have larger bust 38H and a size14-16 >H 5'3 Cardigan buttons up without pulling around chest area. Soft material. Not super long length, which I knew and wanted it not to be too long. Bottom of sweater hits around top of hip area , does not cover bum (length shown on model in ad is correct) Lightweight and soft cardigan, great for summer and spring. Arm length is good. V-neck is slightly deep (same as ad) if wearing buttoned up sweater, probably need a sports bra of cami/sleeveless tank underneath that peeks out unless ok with showing a lil bit of top of cleavage. Size fit just right tts. If I wanted to wear a heavier shirt or bulky blouse under cardigan, you should choose size up. Looks good unbuttoned . After wearing, I ordered 2 more in different colors. The "bright blue" is not bright or as shown in ad, it's more of a navy/federal blue bummr, had to Return. The 2nd color is "red". It's a nice shade of red, not super loud or dull, kept this one . These sweaters are beautiful. I got the light pink and the sage green. The light pink is a little darker than it shows online—really a soft, pretty pink. It’s a little sheer, but with a cami under it it’s perfect. The sage green is gorgeous, not sheer, and is my surprise favorite! They’re both soft and comfortable, not boxy, and drape really nicely. I love how light weight they are—I just wore the green one to an evening outdoor wedding reception and it was just right even during the summer. I usually wear a small, but ended up needing a medium in these. Other than the size being a little off, I love them and might end up getting more colors! Read more

Great sweater. I have two others in different colors. Fits well and is a nice lightweight sweater for the office. The one I recently purchased was supposed to be brown. I was expecting a deeper brown. This appears to have mauve undertones, so doesn’t really work for any of my outfits. I will donate it. Read more

This is the third Amazon Essentials lightweight cardi I've ordered; the others are crew-neck. The fabric has a beautiful drape to it, not tissue-weight; they're more substantial than that like regular sweater material but just a lighter weight. I usually wear an XL (5'5" size 16 ), but ordered an XXL so it would be loose-fitting, and I love the deep v-neck. It's perfect for how I want it to feel. It's a beautiful blue, a close match to the photo, perhaps not quite as bright, so I like it better. And now I'm off to order another one in a different color, because they're perfect for cool summer evenings and will transition to fall weather too. Read more

I really like this cardigan! It’s lightweight and flattering. The arms aren’t too short either, which sometimes happens with cardigans. I usually wear a small, and this fits true to size. I’ll probably wash it on a gentle cycle and lay it flat to dry to help it keep its shape. It can be dressed up or down and looks great with skirts, pants, or dresses.
