This review is to help women with not classically, perfect figures: I am 5’7” and 67 years old. For reference, I wear about an 18w. I bought these in a 3X, and although I liked the fit at the waist, they were huge in the seat and thighs. When I was younger, I was very wide at the hip, and flat in the stomach, and these might have worked in a 2X. Now I am thicker in the middle, while my hips and legs are much slimmer. I thought I might re-order these in the 2X, and then I took a chance and ordered the XXL instead. The size chart indicates that both sizes would be about the same in the waist and hip. I don’t think the plus-sized pants are cut the same way at all. The XXL fit me in the waist and upper hip area, but they have a much leaner fit in the lower hip area and the thigh. For me - perfect! 😀… But back in my younger days, when I was relatively trim everywhere except my generous thighs and hips… then the 1x or 2X plus size with the wider legs would have been a much better fit than the XXL. Since these are stretchy in the waist, ordering for waist size is not as critical. I know everybody carries their weight differently, so I hope this helps you choose which size to buy. I think these are going look great on me this summer. They were pretty much the right length - maybe 31 inches? I do expect them to shrink an inch or so and I am fine with that. I haven’t washed them yet, but I will probably hang them to dry and then put them in the dryer to finish. I’m not planning to iron these. I like the ecru color I a lot. I’m looking forward to making these into some great summer outfits. I love the fact that these have two back pockets and two nice big nicely-tailored front pockets as well. I hope this helps! I found these ecru-colored women’s pants on an Amazon haul and decided to order them. This isn’t usually my style or color when it comes to pants, but I must say I was not disappointed. The fit is great, and the adjustable waist strings allow for a firmer or looser fit depending on your preference. The cotton/linen blend feels comfortable and breathable, perfect for casual wear. I also love the unusual, soft ecru color — it’s a nice change from my usual choices. Overall, I absolutely love them and will definitely be ordering more! Read more

I’ve purchased several pairs of Amazon Essentials linen pants over the years, and they’ve become a staple in my summer wardrobe. This is my second pair in the ecru color—I'm hard on the lighter shades—so I was pleased to see that while the fabric is a slightly different tone than my previous pair, it's still a flattering light tan that goes with everything. The fabric is light and breathable, perfect for warm weather, yet has enough weight to drape nicely without clinging. There’s a slight stretch for comfort, and the fit remains relaxed and easy to wear. One feature I really appreciate is that the pockets don’t show through the fabric, unlike many other linen pants I’ve tried. While you’ll still want to wear light-colored undergarments, the material isn’t overly sheer. I take these pants with me every summer to Europe—they’re ideal for sightseeing during the day and can be dressed up a bit for casual evenings out. The waistband on this newer version feels slightly stiffer than past iterations, but it’s not uncomfortable and doesn’t detract from the overall wearability. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and will likely keep coming back for more. Read more

The fabric appeared to be quality made, but the width of the waist and legs were absolutely humongous. The leg width expanded to almost twice that of what might have been needed. I’m 5’8” tall and weigh 150-155 lbs, but it occasionally reaches upwards towards 159 lbs from holiday goodies. Unless you have a wide waist and even wider legs and hips, it’s doubtful these will fit. That’s too bad because the fabric was supposed to be a good match for the SE Asia climate and temperatures. Read more

I absolutely love these pants. It’s 1000 times better and more comfortable than wearing yoga pants. I washed them and dry them and they’re not wrinkled and the material feels so nice. There’s no polyester. It feels like linen and cotton. Which is what it says it is. I’m definitely getting more. I hope the price doesn’t go up because linen is just made out of flax and there’s no reason it should cost so much. Read more

I’m obsessed with these pants. I wear an 18W or 20W and got the 2X and it fits perfectly. Flowy and wide leg but not baggy or sloppy. I bought 3 colors: rust, green, and cream. Rust is my favorite, but all are great. There’s a tiny variation in sizing. The green and cream fit a little smaller than the rust and the pockets are less roomy but still substantial enough. The material is lightweight and dreamy cool for hot summer weather. It comes out of the washer nice without ironing in my opinion. These definitely aren’t flimsy or see through, even in cream. The quality to price ratio is outstanding. I love to wear them to work, running errands, or lounging around the house. They can really be dressed up ir down soo easily and are comfortable and classy! I have three other pairs of these pants in blue, green and the rusty color. I love them. I bought the off white/beige pants a year ago in the same size as the other three. They were definitely a size smaller. I return them. I was going on vacation and decided to size up since it was so small. Well that didn't work they were huge. So now, over a year later, they were on sale so I decided I would try them again as I love the other three and would really like some more color options. Once again, these are clearly smaller than the other ones, as seen in the picture. Very disappointed. The only reason they got two stars is because I love my other ones otherwise it'd be a one. Do better, please. Now if they were to come out with more colors, I'd be nervous. Super comfy pants when they come in the right size. It's very hard to find cotton/linen. Read more
