I ordered the Amazon Essentials G-Strings for my wife, so I’ll relay here her comments. But the long and short of it is that she’s very happy with them. Initially, she started to compare them to more expensive panties that she owns, until she asked how much these costs. When I told her that they retailed for less than $4 a pair, her first response was “Seriously? “Oh my god, these are wonderful.” Yea, it’s surprising just how much a single pair of designer butt floss can cost; that’s what makes these panties “essential.” Anyway, my wife expressed her pleasure (and mine) with how she looks in these, that they’re soft and comfortable, and especially that the straps don’t press into her waist, causing what she considers unflattering bulging around them, her pet peeve when it comes to underwear. It’s for that reason that my wife, who wears a size 2 – 4 in outer garments, orders large size panties. She can get away with that fit because she’s high-waisted and has a trim waist. This allows the straps to sit lightly on her hips without pressing into her skin. The only disadvantage is that after a few washes, when the straps begin to stretch, the panties no longer fit, a sacrifice she’s willing to make in the interest of feeling good in what adorns her. Of course, that implies another advantage of the Amazon Essentials G-String: they’re inexpensive to replace. Then there’s the other benefit to replacement cost; in those instances that I lose control and tear this right off her body it’s not going to cost me $100 to replace another pair of Agent Provocateur thongs. I wish the cloth area was a little wider there’s a wide gap on each side and I was hoping they would have more cover area to make them a really nice basic.
