Amazon Essentials womens Platform Ankle Boots

Wanted to start saving an extra buck and came across Amazon Essentials clothing, accessories and shoes for women. I ordered a black pair and a cream/nude pair. I received my package on time and they look exactly like the pictures on here. I have wide feet and I usually wear 10 but I sized up to an 11 as the previous reviews suggested. Perfect fit ! They aren't tight on the top of my feet and my ankle has room to breathe. My toes have a little wiggle room too ! I like wearing stilettos but I appreciate a chunky/ platform heel as well! I gave these a chance to wear to work all day, & I’m on my feet a lot, & they were very comfortable. I am so happy with my purchase! Size was true. Color was accurately shown (they are like a burgundy color- which is not accurately shown in my photo). These are sooo cute with leggings & a sweater dress. Hope they look this cute with pants. ...but when I walked the upper part rubber against my leg and caused indentations. Mind you the shoe bed is comfortable. Glad I got the 8.5 instead of the 8 so that I can wear socks. I ended up turning down the top about 2 inches and I could wear all day under pants. I have now cut the top by this amount and glued the edge down. Great to walk in now. These were actually pretty comfortable. Stiff opening softened after the first day I wore them. However, I think the bigger size you wear it seems to rum small. I wear a 10 and sometimes 10.5. Ordered a 10 and too tight. Exchanged for an 11 wide and that worked. Cute and good quality for the money. Read more

The heel is higher thsn i normally wear, but is balanced by a nice thick platform, so they are comfortable. Reading that other buyers found the PU Uppers snug around the ankle, with no give, i ordered 1/2 size up. This allows me to have a bit more space around my ankle, and wear a soft sock for cushion. I have only tried them on twice and have not worn them out but they don't feel comfortable. I don't know if it is that they need to be broken in but they are very stiff. I also have large legs and the ankle part is flush with my skin. This makes me wary because they are so stiff I think it might chaff if I wear them all day.
