I got the blouse in XXL in white to wear with a printed gauze skirt and I love it! Simple, dainty and feminine, this blouse is perfect for wearing on date night or to any other "occasion" that is on your calendar. I will wear a slip under it because of the slightly sheer finish on the white blouse. (You won't need one with any other color - they aren't as sheer.)The blouse is easy care. I washed and dried it in a gauze washing bag and it came out well considering it is 100% cotton. I did touch it up with an iron. It is also very comfortable with the tie at the collar and ruffled sleeves that also can be pushed up to 3/4 length. Easy on with the open neckline and tie collar. This is a very comfortable summer top. I was going to order size XXS, but better counsel prevailed, considering it’s 100% cotton, and my preference for relaxed clothes in the summer. I ended up getting size XS. For reference, I have 31.5 bust, and XS fits me pretty well with some breathing room. I normally avoid getting bell sleeves due to the unpredictability of the cuff fit, but the cuffs on this top are just right on my wrists; they're not too tight, and not too loose. Bright poppy red is a wonderful color and pattern, at least for me. It suits my complexion and brings out the vivacity that I need, well, one can certainly hope. The fabric feels soft and breathable. I've got to admit, the cut of this style of shirt isn't really my style. But, I liked the pattern and my sensitive skin prefers cotton, so I thought I'd give this a try. I still kind of wish the design was more like a standar man's buttondown shirt, but I am pleasantly surprised with this. The design is actually pretty flattering, and I think it will look nice with a vest or a cardigan. The 100% cotton material is "oh so soft!" And the fabric is pretty. I would recommend this. It's a beautiful 100% cotton blouse, though it feels sleeker than the usual cotton garments I'm used to. That must be just how the semi sheer cotton sateen is. One thing I'm disappointed about is that I followed the size chart based on my bust measurement and was recommended a Large, even though I typically wear Medium. Oh boy, am I swimming in it now! This ruffle shirt is very pretty and fits true to size. I was afraid that the elastic around my arms would be too tight, but it’s not at all. The V neck is a bit too low for me so I wear a tank top underneath it. The cut is very flowy so it’s comfortable. It washes well and the fabric does not have any stretch to it. My only wish is that the fabric was more substantial. It’s very thin. That’s great for summer but I’m not sure how long the shirt will last. Other than that, it’s a great shirt. Read more
