Amazon Essentials Womens Slim-Fit Stretch Poplin Button-Up Dress Shirt

I didn't expect much considering how affordable this shirt is, but I was pleasantly surprised. The material is super comfy, has just enough stretch, the sleeves are just the right length, the cut is very flattering and the workmanship is good (no loose seams or threads) - a perfect basic shirt you can dress up or down, but for a fraction of the price. Yes, you do need to iron it, but that's the price of having a cotton shirt... and I do that with all my shirts anyways. I'm now ordering in all other colors. Very happy with this purchase. Read more

First I want to start by saying, this will need to be ironed! I did not get the chance to do that before taking the picture. The fabric is kind of stiff feeling, but stretchy at the same time. It fits my body well and is a good option for workwear or layering. The fabric is slightly see through on the white so either wear a nude bra or undershirt. I did find that the cuffs were a little too tight around my wrists, but that isn't a huge deal for me as I normally roll up my sleeves. I am only 5'1 and the length of the shirt is just right for what I prefer. It can be tucked in or left out to wear layered under a sweater. Why is it so hard to find a simple white button down??!! I ordered this on a whim and am amazed at how good it is! It's fitted but has stretch to the fabric and the sleeves are ACTUALLY long enough for once! I haven't washed it yet but have worn it under a sweater and it's got a silky-type finish that doesn't 'stick' to the sweater. I has a structured fit which I like and stiff collar. I will wait to wash and see, but I'm already tempted to purchase at least two more colors. For reference I generally wear a medium women's 34C and ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. Read more

I love a good button-down shirt, and this one fits perfectly into my goal of keeping a timeless wardrobe. The blue and white stripe is a classic staple that never goes out of style. I am overall very impressed with the quality of this blouse! I didn’t expect much, being a $20 item and never having purchased Amazon dress clothing before but took a chance as the description, color at fit looked appealing. I try to only buy 100% cotton for endocrine health reasons but sometimes you just can’t avoid the added synthetics to achieve a look or quality you're going for. This blouse has 75% Cotton. It’s is very soft and the powder blue color is beautiful for my fair complexion. It has a bit of stretch to it, which adds to its figure flattering design. It narrows at the waist and has darted seams, which accentuates an hourglass figure. Collar holds its shape and is rigid enough to pop up but not too stiff to cause discomfort. Sleeve length is perfect for me and the bust is roomy enough to accommodate my 38c size. For reference, I’m 5’6”, 30” waist and 160 lbs with proportionate torso to legs. I ordered a size large, imo it does fit more like a medium from name brands like Calvin Klein. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality and will be ordering other items from Amazon Essentials in the future. Read more

This long sleeve top is very cute and I would suggest it for anyone working as a waitress. But the material is stiff and seems like it would be easy to tear. You would think it is worth more based on the look; however, the fit and feel is not soft and the quality feels cheap. The material is breathable but it constantly needs ironing after every wash.
