Amazon Essentials Womens Stitch Cable Sweater

Once in a while, an actual thick and soft sweater comes along that you wish you had owned sooner. I actually love this material. It’s warm. The only complaints that I have are that I prefer a classic shoulder/sleeve cut and not the raglan sleeve style, but it’s not awful, certainly not like the current drop sleeves that flatter very few. (I hope someday the drop sleeve trend is seen like shoulder pads now are.) My other complaint is that I do wish it was a little longer and that’s coming from a short waisted woman. Sleeves are a great length though and that’s coming from a tall woman. But the length works well for most outfits I wanted them for, like with skirts. It’s certainly not cropped, but definitely the shortest sweater I own. I will hang to dry and stretch a bit. They are true to size, but I also got one that I sized up for a comfortable one to wear with jeans. These are warm and soft. I hope they stay that way. I’ve never actually felt a sweater quite like this that still had some style. If they made this fabric material into a different style sweater with longer length and classic cut sleeves, like the Amazon Essential cable knit cotton fisherman style sweaters, I’d buy those too. A nice reddish burgundy or a pink dark blush would be a great addition to the colors. Read more

I really love the look and feel of this sweater. It’s soft and comfy with a beautiful design. The cut is flattering as it hides bulges and the sweater doesn’t cling to you. I purchased two in lovely colors. I will definitely check out this sweater next year for new colors. I would love to see this in corn flower blue (medium blue), baby blue, forest green (medium green), mint green, pea green (yellow green), and dark red. I would buy all of these! Thank you! Read more

So warm and cozy. Glad I sized up for a looser fit (5'5", 155#, usual a large, but ordered xl). The price was great ($12), but the picture and description made it seem like heathered pink was a little more muted. It is pretty bright! I haven't washed it yet, but I do expect it to shrink a bit (another reason I sized up). It is a thick and soft sweater, and feels like great quality. This sweater is really soft and great, especially for the price I got it for. I'm quite pleased. The size seems true for me. I will be gently with it when washing so hopefully it will last for a while. It will probably pill a little, but what sweater doesn't these days. The color (gray) is great as well. Read more
