There is nice stretch with a good amount of firmness that keeps them from stretching out during the day. The rise is just right, not too low or too high. The gusset is 95% cotton which is listed on the tag, but not included in the listing, so it was a nice surprise. These lace thongs washed well without a lingerie bag, but to extend the life of these I would wash them in a lingerie bag and dry low or hang to dry.
