After reading the reviews I ordered two sizes. A size up (12) and a double size up (14). The 14 was waaaay to big for me. I put on the 12 and at first, I thought they fit well. After wearing them for 20 minutes I never hated a pair of pants more. They stretched so much to the point they were falling off like sagging. I really love the pant style and material so I ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly with a comfortable stretch and not over-stretching. I wore them around my house before deciding how they fit would end up being. I did not experience too-small sizing. I have a curvy body and they fit very nicely and are still cute/flattering! Review by other account holder: I run sz 8-10 in pants, skirts, shorts but while I was able to zip up, they were too tight. I do like the look, the exposed zipper is a nice touch along with the seems down the top of the legs, kind of a lengthening effect. I am returning and ordering sz 12, hopefully it's just a little bigger. FYI they are made of a thick fabric which gives it a utility look and feel if you like that kinda thing. These fit my body type very well. I bought the rust colored ones in a size 2. I wanted the blue ones too and the Amazon app suggested a 4 would work best. I stupidly ordered that and returned them for a size 2–which seemed to be the same size as the 4. I am now wearing the blue ones in a size zero, which seems crazy. Inconsistency in sizing put aside, the pants are soft, comfy and they have a charming, rustic look to them. Read more

It has simply been soooooooooo very long since I purchased any apparel that is cotton that I forgot I had to even pay attention to fabric content for that reason. These will require pressing, clearly, before every wearing, and that is a bit of a bummer. Oh, well! If they continue to fit well and look good, so be it! Read more

I had a pair in the dark blue version and love the fit for me at 5’2” and 150 lbs. Size 10 is true to size and the length is perfect to my ankle bone. Well-made and a great value! I ordered the pink pants. They are a rosy pink and very pretty. Read more
