This is a strange shirt. I think it’s the style. Looks like it should be worn like a button up but it’s soft material. I was hoping I could wear it open with a tank but that’s not the outfit for this shirt. I like this top quite a bit. It has a great feel to the fabric, a very nice quality feel. I love the color, chocolate! Brown isn't usually my favorite color in clothes, but it's such a nice chocolate shade of brown. The fit is not loose, but not tight in the way that would make me not want to wear it! It's not long, but long enough to cover my middle-aged middle! It really shouldn't be called a cardigan, though. It does button down the front, but a cardigan is a sweater to be worn over another top, I've always been told, and you would not wear this on top of anything else. This is a great shirt, it's as comfortable to wear as a t-shirt but could easily be work appropriate. I picked this up in Terra Cotta, which to me the color looks just as pictured in the listing. It's a muted warm mauve color, I think Terra Cotta is kind of an odd name for it as you might expect something more orange/brown. This color is lovely and not bland. The fit is nice, the fabric has a lot of stretch and hugs the curves. the material isn't super thick but it's definitely not sheer at all, it's very soft. The buttons are pretty, kind pearlescent. It's not a type of fabric that's going to hide any lumps or bumps, it might be clingy in a bad way depending on what you feel comfortable in. For reference I picked my usual size, XS. I am 5'5", 110lbs, 32C-25-32. This fit just as I had hoped, and I think the size chart is accurate, I could have probably gone for the XXS as there is a little room in the waist but I like the slightly looser fit. The shirt is pretty long, it reaches about mid thigh on me. Care instructions are easy as well--"Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low" I didn't notice any shrinkage. I really like this as a versatile wardrobe basic in a more unique color, it would pair well with a skirt or pants and I particularly like the color combo of this and a dark green or teal. The price is a little high, but I recommend this if you're looking for a comfy button up. Read more

The cardigan looks cute. I like the chocolate color. and I like the wide ribbing. The fabric is thin, soft and stretchy. It looks nice and feels very good against the skin, so soft and comfortable. Except for the label on the neck - this brand always has the most horrible stiff and scratchy label attached to the back neck, I always cut the labels off. The size is spot on. It is well made.
