This Amazon Essentials sweater is amazing! It is soft, warm, lightweight, and just comfortably stretchy enough to layer it. I purchased it in beige too. The funnel neck is trendy and comfortable. I have worn the navy coloured one and I cant wait! I find it a very nice fit for me. I hand wash my clothes, so I cannot say it shrinks or wrinkles. The price is good for the quality. The good: the sweater is warm and soft, mid-to-heavy weight, not thin. The charcoal grey color is darker than the picture but still a nice, neutral grey - no green or blue undertones. The weave looks like the picture and is attractive. The not so good (not actually bad): I have a long neck and like turtle neck tops, but the funnel neck feels too tight & tall, I'm folding it in half to wear. The raglan sleeve causes the sweater to poof out at the shoulder, like it's made for a HUGE bust. The seam side of the arms, next to the body, are already pilling on my 2nd day of wearing it. I haven't washed it yet, so can't comment on that. It's fine for my 'wear around the house or if running errands' sweater on a cold day, but not something I'll wear if I want to look nice or without a jacket over it. Read more

This is a very well-made sweater and truly made for warmth. The cable design is beautiful. The neck is somewhere between a mock and a turtleneck, seems just the right height. I ordered the XS which is what I have to order in all of Amazons tops and sweaters. I reference, I am 5'0" and 107lbs. The length was perfect for my desire, I came right to the bottom of my buttocks, I was purchasing this to wear with leggings. Unfortunately, the shoulders and chest fit but gave me that bulked up look, the sleeve were long, so I had to roll them up to make a cuff, the main thig is that the nice wide band at the bottom just was too snug around my buttocks giving it that kind of tucked in look. I think that personally for me if there would been side slits at the bottom band it would have been perfect for leggings. Unfortunately, it was too long and bulky for me to pull it up to where the band would have been at my waist. Sadly, I will have to return this well-made sweater.
