I’m in love with the Amazon Essentials brand for baby clothing. I’ve been buying clothes from this brand for my daughter since she was born, and I’ll keep buying them in the future. I love the quality of the fabric and the fit. The clothes don’t lose their look and stay like new even after frequent washes. They don’t shrink after going through the dryer. I also appreciate that there are different styles for any weather—sleeveless, long-sleeved, etc.—and that the snap-button models are very convenient for newborns. I love the kimono-style, side-snap onesies, and these initially seemed promising. The fabric is smooth, soft to the touch, and the colors (navy, light blue, and ivory) are lovely solids. However, two out of the three onesies have a missing interior bottom snap. After the first wash, they also lost their shape, the trim looks warped and doesn’t lay flat anymore. The snaps can be stiff at times, making them harder to open and close, especially during quick changes. I wanted to give these a try because of the price and high reviews, but unfortunately they didn’t work out. I’ve already removed the inside tags to avoid irritation, so I can’t return them.
