Screen definatly has a warmer tone to making it feel less like a tablet more like a book sometimes. For me it was kinda slow until I got an exterior storage chip witch is kinda necessary to be able to download more than 3 big data games or 6 little datta games. It is rather easy to navigate through I mean I bought it for my 2.75 year old and she is crushing through this granite she has been using her older brothers since she was 2 either way its easy enough to use for a 2 year old. The tablet itself fits seamlessly in place in its child proof casing but also easy to get out for cleaning and like I said this is the second one I bought the first one still after a year doesnt have any cracks and my son isnt gental. Parental control is easy to navigate and because it connects to your amazon account you can contact amazon to help with setting it up and any other questions and you actually can speak to a person. I have also been none to use my sons tablet to read after he falls asleep in the car and as far as display quality and reading ability it doesnt hurt my eyes cause of the dim settings. I bought this for my toddler as she's learned how to operate a basic 30-dollar tablet that was broken by her cousin. She's never been overly hard on her tablet, so I thought I'd upgrade her as she's getting old enough to start learning how to play the educational games, and the old tablet was a bit too slow for that. All that being said, let's start with the only con: it seems like sometimes YouTube (which you can't get an actual app for through Amazon, so maybe that's really the problem) causes the tabs to have to be cleared and YouTube opened back up if left running for too long, or even if the tab was left open too long without having been cleared out with the tablet even being in sleep mode. If tab isn't closed, it translates to a blank black screen, or if a video is up the video won't play. But enough about that. With that being the only real problem, I think we'll be fine lol. The durability seems to be quite decent though it thankfully hasn't been tested, but the case is soft and big enough to provide protection without fear of breaking on the first tiny drop. Sound quality is quite decent, and the screen is large enough for little eyes to make the apps and buttons easy to learn and use. Read more
