The Amberis chair mat for wood floors is an absolute must if you're trying to keep your floors from scuffing. It's thick enough to prevent your floors from getting scuffed by the constant movement of the wheels of your chair. It comes to you delivered rolled up, this way it's not folded up. It took about a day for it to unfurl and it was perfect for my small office space. Got this item to place under my desk for painting and to save my carpet from spills/drops. The intended use indicates for hardwood/tile floors, but I haven't had an issue with carpet so far. The thickness of the mat is medium in weight, and the size is what you would expect of a typical chair mat. It unraveled easily and remained flat. It does see some deformation when applying the weight of a chair when rolling, but I haven't had any rips or tears so far so it seems fairly durable. I was able to wipe up a spill rather quickly without standing already. The item is clear as you would expect, and would look nice over a decorative floormat. This was a fail for us. Got this to allow a chair to move on a thick area rug. Problem is that it's so thin the chair wheels sank into the rug through this. Then it was almost more effort to move the chair than before. Might work fine in uncarpeted areas. Read more

The mat seems thick enough and does a good job at protecting the floors under your chair. My issue with it is that it can move around under the chair and can bunch up which makes moving harder. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a simple, plain floor mat to protect your floor. It’s clear and not very thick, but it provides adequate protection. The material is flexible, and I’ve had it on the floor for over a month. Although I’m a bit late writing this review, I haven’t noticed any issues—no cracks or damage. Overall, we’re happy with it. This mat is made for hard floor surfaces. I find the material a nice and easy cleanable surface. I am currently using it for areas I don’t want accidental spills or whatnot with the kids or crafting. It was easy to roll up and put away or just maybe put under the bed flat. For what it is, I find no fault, I can only say that if you’re looking to use on carpet with chairs or furniture, it will get stretched in the point of contact. It’s made and marketed for hard floors. My chairs roll nicely when used in non carpet areas unless the carpet or rug is placed on a hard surface with no padding and the carpet/rug is not cushioned or thick. If static objects leave marks on that carpet then it’s not appropriate for this mat. If the mat is used the way it’s being offered then you should have no problem getting value out of this mat.
