After both of us retired from our jobs, we never knew what day it was! When you do not have a daily routine, it's easy to forget things like this.This clock is great to see what the day, date, time, & even changes on its own to daylight savings time, then back to standard without touching it! Large illuminated numbers and letters to easily be seen across the room too! Best gift I ever got for my husband lately, especially used and enjoyed by the both of us!! It's very easy to set up. The lettering and numbers are large and bright which makes it so easy to see. I love the full display of the specific time of the day, month, date and year. Got this for my 95-yr old Mom to help her remember the date and day of the week. It is brighter than her old red LED-segment clock and has the extra info on calendar date and day of week. The only bad thing is it cannot automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time. Since the clock has some extra functions (that I'm not using, like reminders for pills, etc), the procedure to adjust the time is a little more complicated than for a simpler clock - I hope she can figure it out if I'm not nearby to do it for her.
