Nice, sturdy set. Exactly as described. First pair I ordered (another brand!) were cheap, made with thin metal and using cheap welds. As a result, I never bothered to install those, instead I returned them and bought these and was pleasantly surprised. Nice steel, heavy gauge and well made. Installed both in about 30 minutes, and they're rock-solid. Not industrial grade, but fine for home. IMO these are well made for MEDIUM USE. If intended for use by an individual over 220-240 lbs, you may want to purchase industrial (or medical) grade, which are made of thick stainless and heavy-grade brackets instead, and then have those professionally installed, for your person's safety and peace of mind. But otherwise and for general home-and-shower use, medium duty, these are fine and well made. Great value for the money. Read more
THESE WORK. No problem installing, and they are completely sturdy. The price is excellent!! I have them on either side of the bathtub-type shower, since I enter on one end and exit on the other end. I’m 71 y/o. I had fallen recently while vacuuming, and that scared the heck out of me. At least now I feel safer getting in and out of my shower. Thanks!!! I’ll probably purchase more for my family. These things are really good quality I mean rock solid! I would have given this a five-star review but the screws that come with it are really poor quality, More than half of the screw heads stripped out just trying to install. Other than that no issues at all highly recommend. Read more

Handyman installed one inside the shower on the tile surface, and one just outside for steadying when getting out. Feels very study and supportive. Attractive, unintrusive safety grab bar with a nice brushed brushed finish that blends well with other fixtures. A good buy. Definately recommended! Read more
These bars have plenty of holes in the flange for mounting screws, but several of them are hard to use due to the angle. This isn't really an issue though, as long as the ones you use are anchored properly. The screws that come with the bars are cheap and easy to strip, and should be replaced with either good quality screws/anchors (drywall/plaster) or heavy duty wood screws (studs/door frames). When mounted properly, they can bear significant amounts of force without issue, and I have happily purchased a second set to use elsewhere in the house. Read more
