Nice, sturdy set. Exactly as described. First pair I ordered (another brand!) were cheap, made with thin metal and using cheap welds. As a result, I never bothered to install those, instead I returned them and bought these and was pleasantly surprised. Nice steel, heavy gauge and well made. Installed both in about 30 minutes, and they're rock-solid. Not industrial grade, but fine for home. IMO these are well made for MEDIUM USE. If intended for use by an individual over 220-240 lbs, you may want to purchase industrial (or medical) grade, which are made of thick stainless and heavy-grade brackets instead, and then have those professionally installed, for your person's safety and peace of mind. But otherwise and for general home-and-shower use, medium duty, these are fine and well made. Great value for the money. Read more

These bars have plenty of holes in the flange for mounting screws, but several of them are hard to use due to the angle. This isn't really an issue though, as long as the ones you use are anchored properly. The screws that come with the bars are cheap and easy to strip, and should be replaced with either good quality screws/anchors (drywall/plaster) or heavy duty wood screws (studs/door frames). When mounted properly, they can bear significant amounts of force without issue, and I have happily purchased a second set to use elsewhere in the house. Read more
