Bought this in 5X for size 4X woman who wanted this color and 4X not available at that time. It's about 10 inches too big around stomach and hips area. So she is swimming in it. That makes me think that a 3X might have worked OK. However she liked this enough to keep it for at home use and is ordering another color in the smaller sizes to see which fits best for public use. Have not washed it yet so if things change will update review. Otherwise it's a nice snap front sweater jacket with a higher neck that is not a turtle neck. Which is what she wanted. She would have wished it to entirely cover the derriere than low hip length, but she is tall (about 5'8"). Large percentage cotton, which is hard to find. Soft, with pockets, medium weight, quality good, commensurate with price. At least 3 season wear. Comfy for home, nice enough for casual public wear, even wear over a dress or skirt. Update: Washed it in hot, longest cycle, highest agitation and dried on hottest cycle. It shrunk about 2 or at most 3 inches in width. The sleeves are still long enough, too. So they didn't seem to shrink much in length, which was a pleasant surprise. Considering this was the largest size and width (something like 60 inches around) and was really abused in the wash, the shrinkage was minimal for a cotton blend sweatshirt type fabric. The texture did suffer just slightly from the harsh treatment. Recommend. Also recommend others use more moderate washing techniques. Read more

This sweater is perfect for me. The 2X fits me loosely the way I want it (picture is right from packaging), was true to size, and didn't shrink after washing (normal cycle, cold water)/tumble dry (normal). Easy Essentials is the brand (tag picture) so I can possibly buy a 2X in gray (which is what I wanted) from another source. I wear it around the house over a short sleeve shirt so I can take off the long sleeves when doing something that doesn't require the warmth of long sleeves. As mentioned in other reviews, some of the snaps are very difficult to open. I used a letter opener to open ones that were resistant. I probably won't need to snap them shut again since I were it indoors and wrap it closed when not moving about. Other reviews mentioned the lining being thin. It is thin but is advertised as lightweight, which that's what it means to me (picture with front folded against back...thickness is the same). It's not a negative on the quality, it's just not what others were expecting, wanting, or needing. It's perfect for indoors or when it's just not quite warm enough outdoors. I had all these "hoodies" but never used the hoods. I was looking for a nice replacement and I found it. I'll be buying some more colors soon. High quality product and really comfy. Edit: I do recommend getting the next size up from your usual if you prefer a loose fit. They are still awesome, but my next ones will be a size larger. PS The larger size is roomy and I love these. Warm, nice looking. Makes me happy. I just wish they came in red and/or black. I now have 5 of them in different colors. Read more

It came in a large I had orderd a med. Sent it to my mom for her birthday. She had to pay 10 bucks postage to get it replaced. She has still not gotten the new one. I orderd her another one in tangerine and paid for it again it is perfect she loves it. Sure was expensive aft I had to buy it twice and she paid 10 bucks to return it. It may work out where she gets the purple one she sent back replaced. Read more

This sweater is really comfortable and fits really well. I purchased a large after reading many of the reviews, I like loose and the large fit me loose. I am 5'2" and 125 lbs, the size chart shows a medium for me, but the large did better. The material is soft and keeps me nice and warm in the house (I am always cold inside the house). I would recommend this to anyone as an alternative to a bulky sweater. Read more
