Short story: It's bright, colorful, and really nice to read in the darkness. Setting it up is easy. Comes with a remote to help with set-up, too. Longer story: Bright and colorful. It's not so bright that it's annoying, but even if it is, there's a way to turn that down to a very soft, dim setting. Colors still show up very nicely that way, too. My daughter's room is near pitch-black with her curtains drawn, and while the clock doesn't light up the room, it's good enough to not hurt her eyes when she wakes up and wants to know what time it is (before bolting for the bathroom). Setting up is easy. The buttons aren't the most intuitive things, but it's not hard to figure out what they do and how they work when one first messes with the settings. With the instructions, it becomes very obvious how to set up the clock. I enjoy that it has the ability to do 12 hour or 24 hour time. I don't expect my daughter to want to use 24 hour time, but it's a nice learning tool to have when she gets to wanting to learn how to read and translate it. Date and day of the week displays are nice to have, too, and it's awesome that it reads the temperature in the room, too. No, it's not the most accurate thing, but it's close enough to help me figure out if she needs more blankets in the Winter or if she needs less in the Summer. (Ultimately, she'll do all that herself anyway, but that's besides the point.) Now, mounting tools. It comes with stick-on hooks that you can use to mount the clock tot he wall or screws with anchors. Both are great, but I'd argue with how light this clock is, you probably don't even need the anchors. (Unless the clock's user will want to handle the clock often or will try to use the clock to hang off of or climb on.) I've got the clock hung a few inches from the ceiling, as my kiddo has a tall loft bed and would be able to see it best that way. I wouldn't personally use the stickers, even if I were renting an apartment. I've seen more damage come from those than it is just to fill in a few small holes from nails or screws. That said, I have some confidence that those 3M strips that peel away from a wall easily will also do great holding up the weight of this clock. If you don't mind the sticker-hooks that come with the clock, though, they look sturdy and reliable enough to me. As for the cord, get creative! Decorate the cord with some faux leaves or colorful feathers. You can even paint it to match the color of the room's walls to help hide it. Personally, I just had the wire lining the frame of her closet doors all the way down to the outlet. Thankfully, the cord was just long enough for such a thing. Back-up battery? I set it up just to test it outside of my daughter's room. After unplugging it in the living room, it was about a minute before I was able to plug it back in at my daughter's room. The clock remembered nothing, so I had to set it all up again. I haven't fully tested out how well this clock remembers anything for something like a brown out, but I know it would do terribly in a black out; You'd have to do set-up again, but that's really not hard to do, especially since it comes with a remote. If you're able, plugging this into a battery back-up system's not a bad idea, but unless black-outs happen a lot and you need the alarm to work, I'd say it shouldn't be a deal-breaker. Speaking of the alarm.... Personally, didn't test it. With its position in her room, my daughter has no use for it to be an alarm clock. (Her Alexa device would suffice well enough for that.) She also would have no way of being able to turn it off... although this clock also comes with a remote that can control the alarm, so she could snooze or dismiss it that way. However, the remote is so slim and compact, I can see her losing that VERY easily. If I didn't already have clocks for my own room, I'd be tempted to have my own colorful wall clock, too. This thing's got a nice-sized display and is really easy to set up however I'd like it to be. If I find the need, I'd definitely buy another one of these, even as a gift for a friend or something. (Or a baby shower! This would be great for a baby's room... especially for very tired parents during the first few months. Best way to help them keep track of the time and days, I think, haha!) I needed a replacement for my large number digital clock in my bedroom. I like the large numbers so I can see what time it is without having to put on my glasses each time. This clock is a WINNER all around. It is super bright and I can see the numbers easily. You don't need to set it on 4 ( brightest ). That lights up the whole room.....lol. Setting number 3 is perfect. And, a bonus is that is shows the date and room temp. And, it is thin & fits anywhere. It's easy to set and looks great on a table, shelf or wall. This is a great alarm option when the bed is not near a table (example: loft bed). The clock has 3 brightness settings and is easy to read. You can easily set the year and date so that the clock shows the day of the week. The cord is very long which makes it easy to place wherever needed. I love that this comes with a spare battery (2032) to maintain the time if the power goes out. Read more

I really like this clock. I love the big digits that allow me to see the time from so far away without squinting. I like the different colored digits under the clock, that tell me the date, day, and temperature. I've had this clock for many months now, maybe over a year and it's not failed like some of the other clocks I've bought off Amazon. Works great, looks great! Read more

I've tried several clocks, even those with auto set atomic time clocks, but those sound more great in theory than in reality. Their time was off more than any other clock in my home. In any case, I wanted a basic big digit accurate clock displaying date with day of week. This device fit the bill perfectly. It is all plastic construction, easy to hang either one point in center or two outboard, and power cable is plenty long, although it is USB on the end and not a regular two prong wall power connector, and does not come with a USB to two prong adapter, so keep that in mind. The remote is handy for easy access to functions, although so far I've only used it to adjust the brightness, and adjust the time. Since I've had it for a couple months now, though, the time is still on point. More than I can say for many other clocks I have that lose a minute or two every month. The battery backup is nice so if your power goes out it still keeps time and all other settings. Overall it's a great clock, although I still think these clocks are more expensive than they should be, but given similar clocks it is priced competitively. Read more

Click came with dead batteries or so I thought. I replaced batteries and the display never worked. I have tried everything to troubleshoot with no luck. Very poor quality and a disappointment all the way around. Box did not include power adapter or cord as stated. Read more
