Love these! They took the place of my can lights that were letting bugs in from the attic when the temperatures would get extreme. Now they can’t get in my house through the attic! I had a handy man install them because I added a dimmer switch, but he said they were easy to install. The brightest setting is really bright! Before we added the dimmer, we had the setting on the softer setting but I guess the setting you choose depends on the location they are installed and your preference. I have been buying these lights for so long. I think I started buying them back in 2022 and haven't stopped since. I recommend it a lot to friends and family so I just always get these for them. The adjustable lighting is pretty easy to set up. You do have to set it before you install it but, it is not too bad to take it out of its can when you need to change it. Worked out really nice. These are lightweight so they held really tightly to the ceiling. Reading other reviews, the clips that hold the springs are indeed plastic and can break if you pull on them. The trick is to be careful when squeezing the spring without putting stress on the clips The springs are hefty, which helps hold the lights to the ceiling, but it can make squeezing them a little hard. I did 6 with no problem. Weird issue is that this type of lights has become a commodity. I have six in a kitchen that was remodeled about 4 years ago. I had two spares, ( they came in boxes of four ) but I also had two failures. Even the same manufactures replacement lights are now slightly different. It was just easier to by a twelve pack and replace all six, and have six matching replacements. Changing them all took minutes. It does not seem anyone makes a more expensive, more rugged set. This set should last me for years but the issue is now there is more trash in the landfills. When the fixtures cost under six dollars its hard to expect 10 year lifespans. Read more

I’ve been in my house for five years and a couple of my recessed lights have started to fail. I bought this 12 pack to get ahead of that and quickly installed them. Install was very easy as was the color selection. Overall, these are a great value and will be good to keep around as more burnout over time. In fact, I might proactively start replacing bathroom and closet lights to get away from the 2700K that the builder included by default. Read more
