I have been using this for YEARS and absolutely LOVE IT! Its like toothpaste,1 inch squeezed out is about 1 small clove of minced garlic. For comparison, I dislike the flavor of chopped garlic in a jar, no matter the brand it has a weird taste. Amore garlic paste has a touch of olive oil to increase the spreadability of the paste as well as a touch of salt- so keep that in mind when cooking. My favorite pasta is Colavita Fettucine and I sautee about 1/4cup Amore Garlic paste with 1/4cup of olive oil. I add in 2 pats of butter then mix in a lb of cooked fettucine. I could eat this everyday! During the 2020 shortages I was able to buy this online and never be without my favorite garlic. I'll add a squeeze to quick tomato sauces, homemade pesto, soups, salad dressing anywhere you'd use crushed or minced garlic. The tub stays fresh for MONTHS in the fridge even though most of the time I use a tub within a month. The unopened tubes remain in the pantry at room temp. Amore is super convenient and well made. This is probably the best garlic paste in a tube I have ever used! It tastes super fresh, has many uses and the flavor is amazing. It's fairly smooth, so you're not going to get that strong garlic taste right away like when you cut raw garlic, but the flavor is there. Great using it to make garlic bread or adding it pretty much to any food. Throw a little on your eggs, on a sandwich, on your chicken before baking, even on your steak in the end while resting and it's great to add to minced garlic when you are making a compound butter. I called the company & they said that it’s still the same ingredients so they don’t know why it’s brown now ! I just want someone to open a box & see if it’s still edible on their shelves exp. 10/2026 I had to throw out 5 tubes from one case ! I’m only writing this to see if anyone else had this problem!
