Sunny and cheerful
My theme for Christmas this year is sunflowers and honey bees. My grandma loves sunflowers and I was recently reminded of that. So I've been on the search for things to turn my Christmas decorations into things I can use year round. I know I could go to the dollar store and Walmart or fake flowers. But I saw these and really thought they were cute because they came with tiny flowers and large flowers and lots of greenery. In no way do Dollar tree flowers compared to this. It has lots of varied greenery in different sizes and shades of green. I intend on pulling these bunches apart and using them to make decorations. It's a work in motion so we're not sure my exact application of the flowers. But whether I left them in bunches or cut them apart they are adorable. When you get the box it's so small you'll wonder what's inside! Yes they're a bit smushed if you see my pictures one of them is what the flowers look like when I took them out of the box. The other two pictures show what they look like after I Cold each stem so the flowers weren't touching each other so much so I could work on the individual large flowers. I used my flarisol Mister to wet them and then use my blow dryer with a diffuser. I held it in over each bloom for a few seconds. I did this two or three times to the big flowers. It made a huge difference in what they look like and how open they are. I think it's a good value for the price and how quickly they arrive on prime shipping. It sure beats me having to get in the car and drive around and search for flowers! Read more
