The size is on the smaller side and would be great for beginners but leaves something to be desired for more experienced players. The outside clear looking material is soft, stretchy, and very flexible while the pink colored areas are dense with a bit more weight. The surface of the outside is very smooth without texture. The end loop is plenty large and easy to hold onto. At the current price of about 16 dollars it seems like a good value.
