Anastasia Beverly Hills - Luminous Foundation

This is the best foundation I have found for mature skin. It is luminous and buildable. It is full coverage but does not look cakey. It does cover flaws and redness. It does not feel greasy and stays on throughout the day. I like that it does NOT have sunscreen. Why do you need sunscreen on to be inside all day and add unwanted chemicals to your skin? This is a good foundation. It is lightweight and provides pretty good medium coverage. It also makes the make-up long lasting. I recommend ordering 2-3 lighter than what you think your shade match is, since the foundation when you get it appears way darker than is shown in the picture. I love this foundation. Originally I bought the 140N which was too dark I wore it one day to work and was so impressed I gave it to my mom and ordered myself the 130N and hoped it would be light enough. I’m 41 so I have the pores and wrinkles. This sits nice on my skin evens out my tone without feeling heavy my blush and contour blends well. I apply with a blender sponge and then kinda buff it out with a foundation brush. The N shades have a slight yellow tone I was not expecting. Also I’m a nurse that works 12hr night shifts and it appears to last through my shift with minimal patching that other foundations tend to do. This is a dryer foundation so I do make sure to wear a moisturizing cream underneath. As far as glow or dewy I find it is more matte than my tastes. A nice dewy setting spray is good as a final step. I absolutely love Anastasia's Luminous Foundations! She offers such a wide array of colors & tones to fit just about everyone. I've tried many other liquid foundations, but this one offers me the coverage, dewy texture, and colors I've been searching for. I keep at least 3 varied shades on hand, for the different seasons, as well as to mix them for a different look or to contour with. Easy to apply, & goes on smoothly with a beauty blender type sponge (which is my preferred applicator). I also use her Banana Powder to set it, and it will last my entire work day without touchups!
