We picked these because of their long length, and my son fell in love with them! We've tried other brands and these definitely fit longer. He's a big 9yr old so we went with the large and they fit great on his legs. He's very active so he likes that they are longer and don't ride up when he's playing sports. I purchased these for my sons after the heat and humidity caused skin irritation from their thighs rubbing together during the summer months. These are long enough to protect their skin and don't ride up like some other brands do. They also don't shrink when washed with warm water and put in the dryer like some other brands.
