I installed my phone holder today. It includes clear instructions on how to assemble and install it. It fit the vertical vents of my 2016 Chevy Cruze. It seems to be sturdy and well-made. It is easy to operate and seems to hold the phone securely. It allows for a good range of view from the dashboard. For some reason, cell phone mounts are the hardest thing to buy and the easiest thing for me to break. I have gone through one or two a year for several years and they have all ended up breaking one way or another. While I still prefer the kind that can mount to my windshield, This is the best clip-on Mount I have ever purchased and more than a year later, it is still running strong. I like that it keeps my phone in front of an air vent because I live in the southwest where it gets really hot out and I can turn on the AC to keep my phone cool whereas windshield mounted ones can cause my phone to overheat easily. The springs are well made, the plastic is high quality, my car sometimes gets up to 130° inside during the summertime and the plastic has not become brittle, and the design at the bottom allows quick and easy access to plug in my charger with one hand.
