These corduroy pants are so cute on! The deep moss color is absolutely beautiful and perfect for fall and winter. The fit is very flattering, especially for curvy figures, and the mid-rise sits comfortably without feeling tight. For reference, I’m 5'6", and the length hits just right on my shoes. The corduroy material feels soft yet sturdy, and they’re easy to dress up or down. These corduroys are really great — definitely one of the *hits* from this brand! I have several bottoms from Angels Forever Young, and the sizing can be all over the place. But these ones? Spot on. 👌 I ordered my usual size 12, and the fit is perfect in all the right places. The mid-rise waist hits exactly where I like it — comfortable, flattering fit (especially on the back side), and easy to wear all day. Seeing as they’re corduroy, I wouldn’t grab them for a hot summer day, but they’re ideal for fall and winter (or even cooler summer evenings). I’m 5’4”, and the length is just right on me. Though when I wear like wedge boots or something, they can be borderline short, so if you’re taller than 5’4”, they may be a little too short or hit a little bit higher on the ankle if you like that look. The color is called Deep Moss. In the listing it looks more brown, but in person, it’s actually more like a golden brown-green color — really earthy and seasonal. It pairs beautifully with light caramel tones or even soft grays, etc. Super versatile fall color. Let me start with saying that I am very tall, 5'10 and 210 lbs. So keep that in mind when reading this review. Pros: - They look good and have a nice texture since they are corduroy. It gives them some extra flair. - They go up a bit under my belly button. - The fabric is a little stiff so I'd recommend going up a size. They still do have some stretchiness to them so even if you get a size that might be slightly tighter, you could probably still fit into them. They are not super stretchy. - It has good durable buttons and a nice zipper. It has functional pockets which are great. Cons: - I did dock a star because they are short. That might not matter for everyone, but for me it sucks. I don't know that I would get them again because they were too short for me, but if I was shorter, I would absolutely love these pants. I really like these corduroy straight leg pants! They have a nice ankle length cut, a thicker waistband that can accommodate a nice thicker belt, and a slim but moderately stretchy fit. The material isn’t too thin or too heavy of a fabric- corduroy can add an unpleasant bulkiness if it’s too thick so I appreciate the quality of the materials that were used. I love the color, they’re like a muted brown green and pair very well with oranges, deep browns, deep maroons, burgundies, emerald greens, blacks, deep navy blues, grays, beiges, camels etc. all the fall colors. They have a moderately high waist. Sizing wise, I would not recommend sizing down. I recently lost 30lb but still decided to order a size 10 (like I wore before, size 30) because they’re corduroy and tend to, from experience, have less stretch and be less forgiving on lumps and bumps and jelly rolls. I’m glad I did. I think I would have needed a larger size if I was still heavier. At the size and weight that I am now, these pants are a comfortable fit and look more like how they fit on the model than if I had sized down to an 8. I think they also would’ve felt too tight and up in my business in the crotch area if I had sized down. So if debating between two sizes, opt for the larger one. If you’re already familiar with how corduroy fits size as you normally would. Because I have cats I keep cat hair remover roller brushes everywhere, and with corduroy, much like velvet, cat hair tends to cling to it. So if you have cats make sure to keep roller brushes nearby. They look amazing on. I absolutely despise the high waisted trend for pants that simply won't go away so to find these mid-rise pants with boot cut legs (my preference) felt like a miracle! Especially since they're corduroys which I can never seem to find but that I love! I wasn't too sure about the color. I don't think moss is an appropriate name for the color as they seem a little too brown for that. I think of "moss" as a richer, deeper green. I would have preferred that, but I don't hate this color. I wish other colors had been available but I was so glad to find the pants in this style in a color that I'm ok with that I was glad to take a chance on the color. They seem of good quality. They're a little pricier than I'm used to paying so I hope the quality directly translates to being long lasting. The material seems rather good with a nice subtle stretchiness to it. They seem well designed and constructed. I love the 2 buttons which I find unique. They're a little too warm for my area's current weather but I know that I will wear them to pieces once colder weather arrives. I had to size up from my usual size because it was out of stock at the time I ordered. It is now back in stock and is ~$5 less than the ones I ordered. That's so annoying!
