Beautiful Chair Mat That Protects Floors and Stays Put
I purchased this chair mat for my home office after we moved into our new to us house, and I am very happy with it. I use a rolling office chair on luxury vinyl plank flooring, so I needed something that protected the floor but did not look like a traditional plastic mat. This one performs exactly as promised. Setup and First Impressions It arrived packaged well with no odor and unrolled easily. There were no waves or curls at the corners. I placed it under my desk and it settled flat within minutes. Real Life Use I work from home full time, so my chair rolls across this mat all day. It moves smoothly without any resistance and the rug has not shifted at all. The backing grips the floor securely, even on LVP. I never have to straighten it and it does not bunch or wrinkle. The colors are even prettier in person. The terracotta tones and soft blues fit perfectly with my Boho and coastal style office. It looks more like a decorative rug than a utilitarian mat, which helps the space feel warm and pulled together. What I Wish I Knew The mat feels slightly thinner than a regular area rug, which I expected since it is designed for rolling chairs. The thinner profile actually helps the chair glide more easily.
