I really like this fun bath mat. It's thick, plush, absorbent, is a great size (not small at all), and the colors are bright. The hippo animal print is very cute, making bath time even more fun for my grandkids. I have yet to wash it, but so far it has held up to the daily wear. I was happy to try this Ankah Peacock Animal Bath Mat to use as a foot mat in our home, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. The peacock design is adorable, with bright, vivid colors that stand out beautifully - something even our kids immediately noticed and loved. Both my wife and I love the design and overall quality of this mat. We currently use it under the kitchen sink, and it adds a nice decorative touch while being soft, plush, and very comfortable to stand on during dishwashing. The texture feels warm and cozy, which is especially nice when standing for longer periods. The thickness of the mat also provides great support for your feet underneath while doing the dishes, providing some of the same benefits as the non-fatigue mats. At first, we tried placing it at the base of our staircase, but even though it’s marketed as non-slip, it tended to shift slightly on smoother floors. We have found it works best when positioned against a cabinet or wall, such as under a bathroom or kitchen sink, where one side is anchored. It’s labeled as machine washable, which is a great feature, though we haven’t yet tested how it holds up after washing. For now, it has maintained its shape, softness, and vibrant print perfectly. I would give this rug 5 stars for cuteness but I don't feel like it absorbs enough to be a bath mat. The pile is silky and would feel great under bare feet if there was another layer between the pile and the backing. The backing has a plastic waffle grid pattern that isn't very comfortable for an adult to stand on. A small kid probably wouldn't notice. The backing is waterproof though and it's good size for outside the tub. I haven't tried washing it yet but it appears to have quality stitching that looks like it will hold up.
