Anker really knocked it out of the park with this product. It was clearly designed by people who would actually use this product in the real world, and not just for the sake of looking cool in product renderings. I use this for powering and charging devices on my kitchen countertop, and this one single unit replaced the unsightly power strip and USB chargers I was previously using. Its extremely flat, right-angled power plug allowed me to regain 3 inches of countertop depth because my outlet is behind the microwave oven, and now I can push the microwave closer to the wall. The flat power cable is very easy to manage, and is long enough to be able to comfortably reach the power outlet, while not being so long as to become unwieldy. The side/top power plug layout gives you fantastic flexibility for powering permanent vs temporary devices, and having USB charging ports on the front face totally eliminates the need for using USB charging bricks for charging up phones and iPads. The 20W output of the USB ports is more than adequate for day to day charging, but I do wish there was a version of this product that had the output power of their—also amazing—Nano II charger so that I could charge my MacBook Air faster. But for $19.99, this is still one of the best values I've ever seen for a product like this. I'm also looking forward to taking this product with me the next time I travel, because it singlehandedly eliminates most of my power & charging requirements while in a hotel room. Read more

Love this! Excellent product for plugs! 🔌 I have used all 8 at one time before, and works perfectly! USB-C can distribute up to 20 watts when used ALONE. USB-A can distribute up to 12 watts when used alone. If you plug in two or three things at once, the max output wattage goes to 15 watts max. Since I have powerful devices, I use the USB-C port which has Power Delivery (commonly called PD), or I just use one USB port at a time. Not too big of a deal since it does charge fast. It’s more on the pricey side, however I did try a knock off brand, and it WAS NOT the same! I could’ve even plug in more than two things at once! I learned my lesson and went back to Anker! Excellent quality, and decently priced. If you find them on sale, JUMP ON IT! Since I use a lot of consoles and monitors, I LOVE the surge protection feature. It gives me peace of mind that my stuff isn’t going to fry! It has saved me numerous times, I highly recommend it. Also, I love the size of the plug, how it’s more flat than normal plugs. I also have one of these on the side of my bed, and my bed kept bending or unplugging the one I originally had, so I bought these black ones as a replacement. Best decision EVER! No more of having my bed wiggle and disconnect the plug! Read more

This surge protector offers a very smart design. The outlets are well-spaced, so I can plug in larger adapters without blocking neighboring ports. The USB ports deliver consistent charging speed for my phone and tablet, and the built-in surge protection gives peace of mind for my electronics. The cord is thick and durable, and the flat plug fits behind furniture without bending. I’ve been using it in my home office for two months now, running a desktop, monitor, printer, and chargers with no issues. Anker’s build quality continues to impress — feels like a long-term buy. I purchased the Anker Surge Protector Flat Plug Power Strip (2000J, 8 Outlets, 2 USB‑A, 1 USB‑C, 20 W) largely because I needed a low-profile, flat plug design for tight spaces—and it proved to be a reliable and well-thought-out solution. Key Highlights: • Flat plug design keeps the strip flush against wall outlets, making it ideal for behind furniture or wall-mounted setups. • Solid surge protection rating (2000J) gives confidence in safeguarding my devices from power spikes—exactly what I expect from reputable surge protectors. • Diverse charging options, including two USB‑A ports and a 20 W USB‑C port, cover not only laptops or peripherals but also fast-charging for my iPhone 15. • Compact and mountable—an easy fit in my office’s limited outlet space, and wall-mount provisions help reduce clutter. • TÜV-listed adds a layer of verified safety and reliability, which aligns with Anker’s consistent quality standards. After some brief research, it was clear that this model strikes the right balance of protection, convenience, and build integrity, all at a reasonable price point. If you need a power strip that combines function with a minimal profile and trustworthy surge protection, this is a strong choice. I’m very satisfied with its performance and versatility. Read more

It’s a good product. Bought for when I travel and am glad i have. It’s built in usb ports can charge a phone very fast but give you the option of using a fast charger in one of its available plugs if you so choose. It’s well built with a cord that’s more then long enough to reach most anywhere you’d need it too wether it be home or during travel. It’s rather small being about 4 inches square and an inch thin and fits well in most bags. Would recommend to anyone needing a good surge protector or charge station for travel Read more
