I cannot believe I put off this purchase for as long as I did. I absolutely love it. My mobile phone battery has been taking a hard dive for nearly two years. I bought car chargers, extra wall chargers & even wireless chargers to combat the problem. I occasionally plug the phone in, but I almost exclusively use the Anker now. The charge is faster, more consistent & lasts longer. I can get multiple recharges on a singular Anker charge. No more cords to fumble with while driving either. The only "con" I can list is that the Anker pack does take a few hours to fully charge. Anker suggests buying one their wall adapters which I may very well do. Pack is the perfect size & does not get hot like cheaper brands. I bought a second one the following week! Read more
What's not to like? Priced well. This one has thicker case, maybe more water resistant?!? These are the GOAT of power banks. I have a number of Anker power banks many years old (5+); only charge them after weekend away (in snowmobile cabin, boating, camping), heavy use. Otherwise hold charge for months. Re-chsrge at night, on the go. Use at unexpected, LONG ER visits, weekend swim meets while extended breaks going on (& using Kindle), charging up phone, watching Superbowl (away from home) on e-device...these are workhorses. Seriously, don't leave the house without one (and multi end Anker cord--the one with lightning "apple", power line "micro" & "c" ends built in it!) Yes, everyone knows I carry it & asked often to "borrow" (teens)--electronics always on edge of being dead🙄. Secret: I usually have 2 on me...car is often too cold or too hot to store it, otherwise I would leave them in it. Read more
My boyfriend had received the Anker PowerCore 20100 from a friend for Christmas and has had it for 5+ years now and still works like he got it yesterday. My battery pack I have now is losing its life and it was time for a new one. I love my boyfriends Anker battery pack, so Anker is the first product I looked into. I found the Anker PowerCore 13000 and new it was the one I wanted. Its exactly like my boyfriends PowerCore only cut in half. As much as I love my boyfriends power bank, I don't like carrying it. He does all the carrying when we are using it together. It just weighs my pockets down too much and I find it to heavy to carry in my hands. Also I have baby hands :p (small hands) so the smaller version was just all around better for me anyway. It has two ports for double the charge or you want to share with a friend. When I received it in the mail it was charged halfway. I used it once to fully charge my phone that day while in town and then I plugged it in to charge when I got home. Took about 3 and half hours to fully charge. It may take more time if the pack is fully dead but like stated before, mine was half charged when I received it and I used about 1 bar before plugging it in at home. I bought the red PowerCore and the color is very red and very vibrant. I have only used one bar from it since fully charging it 3 days ago and its been my phones umbilical cord since I got it. XD Has 2 bars now. This little PowerCore packs a powerful punch. Its lightweight and I have no problem carrying this one in my pockets or just holding it behind my phone. I have no complaints about Anker PowerCores and will forever recommend Anker, first, too anyone. Read more
[Updated - 01/04/2020] I increased the overall rating to 5 stars for several reasons. 1. Excellent customer services - Right after I reported the early problem of taking too long to charge the battery. Anker's customer services contacted me promptly and offered to send me a replacement. I would have received the replacement and update this reivew soon, if not because I was on vacation. I am very impressed with Anker's customer services, they really deserve 5 stars 2. Excellent product - The replacement battery I received took about 5 hours to fully charged. So far I have charged my Pixel 3XL phone once and the battery still have about 60% charges (3 out 5 lights remained). Over the years, i have purchased many products from Anker (wall chargers, wireless chargers, all sorts of charging cables). Looks like I will remain a Anker customer for a long time. ----- End of update ------ I received this battery on Tuesday around 7 pm and the battery indicator is at one light. I charged it with an Anker IQ charger and it is now more than 12 hours and it is still in one light. I know the charger is working because it is the charger I use to charge my phone and other portable batteries. Very disappointed, seems to be Anker's quality control is going down because it is not the first time we have problem with Anker's products in the past 12 months. Read more

The first one I received was a dud - when charging, it would only display 2 lights, no matter how long I charged it. I don't know if it was charging and the lights were faulty, or the unit just wasn't charging. So minus one star for that experience. Returned and re-ordered. My second unit has performed flawlessly. It will give my phone 3-4 full charges. If I'm on a plane with no USB access, I'll just leave my phone plugged into it with no worries about running out of power, while I watch movies, listen to music, read books, and play games. It also comes in handy if I need to leave home and my phone isn't charged up quite enough. It's compact enough that it fits into my small purse, and I never worry that I'll run out of juice. I'll even use it at home if being tethered to an outlet is too much trouble. I do wish it were USB-C in order to minimize the number of cords/connections I need to keep up with. I got a cord with regular USB on one end, and micro usb, usb-c, and lightning on the other, and it makes it easy to switch from charging the charger to charging my phone. Read more
