I ordered these Ankis cowboy boots for my wife, and here are her impressions (spoiler alert: she likes them). First, she usually wears size 8-1/2 or 9 US shoes, and the 9s fit her very well. She finds them comfortable, and also easy to take on and off (the zipper helps). The "chunky" heel looks good, but she sometimes has balance issues and these are quite secure. She likes that the style has a cosmopolitan feel as well as being western. Part of how they come across is what you wear them with, and she likes that they work with both long and shorter skirts. I ordered these to wear with some winter outfits. I really like the design of them, being a cross between a cowboy type boot and a dress type boot. The length of the shaft is nice and long, reaching just under the knee. The material is pretty mediocre, being pretty think and plastic. These had a lot of possibilities to be some really nice boots, but there are some real problem with construction and quality control The boots arrived with some hard substance all over them. I believe its uncontrolled gluing process probably made a mess and was not cleaned up. There are several random spots throughout one of the boots, but there is also glue seeping out from some of the seems. The color of them is as described, white, and have a nice appearance from a distance. However, at the price and considering the quality issues, I would not say they are a good value for the money.
