They are well made, with obvious attention to detail in the decorative stitching, a high-quality zipper, and they are super comfortable! I wore them all day running errands and then to a holiday party as a test run for taking them on a trip where I'll be doing a lot of city walking, and I forgot I was even wearing new boots! I *love* these. I have thick calves, so taller cut boots can be difficult to fit, but these hit right before the trouble spot and fit like a glove the second I put them on. I think the might be a bit uncomfortable for walking long distances...despite the stability of the chunky heel, it is a pretty high heel and there's not a ton of padding on the sole. These are truly stunning boots. You would think they are an expensive designer brand. But they are a fraction of the cost. The block heel makes them fashionable and easy to wear. The zipper works well. And the outside has a beautiful sheen. They are comfortable and not overly stiff like some less expensive boots.
